This restaurant is inviting, with familiar décor of neutral walls and comfortable seating. Classic clocks and fun artwork line the walls and create something interesting to glance at while you eat your meal. The tables that line the edges of the room are small and cosy, perfect for couples or a get together with close family. Large windows allow plenty of light and invite anyone passing in to this lively and friendly venue.
The menu itself is varied and enticing, catering well to vegetarians and offering a choice of hot and cold dishes, great for the summer months. Start your meal with a Muskaboregi, a cold feta pastry, or enjoy Manta Dolma, with deep fried mushrooms stuffed with chicken pate. The main courses offered make use of traditional Turkish flavours, ranging from marinated lamb dishes to Liver Kebab and Whole Sea Bass Fish served with a green salad, a great option if you’re after something filling and healthy. The separate vegetarian menu offers a host of starters alongside inventive mains, with Imam Bayildi, a saucy aubergine dish, alongside a choice of stuffed pitta breads. The desserts menu is filled with tasty ice cream alongside indulgent tiramisu and an enticing strawberry cheesecake. A nice selection of wine is offered to accompany your meal, with a choice of hot drinks that are perfect with dessert.
For traditional Turkish cuisine in the city centre, Zeugma in Sheffield is an excellent choice. The choice is varied enough to suit all tastes and the extensive vegetarian selection makes this a great place for any vegan or vegetarian to dine.
