We say…

Located in Grand Arcade off Vicar Lane is Zaap Thai Street Food who promise to bring the true taste of Thailand to the centre of Leeds.

The restaurant is quirky and modern furnished with mismatching tables and chairs to give it that authentic ‘street food’ feel. The room is brightened up with bold colours, fluorescent signs and hanging lamps to create that true bustling atmosphere of Thailand. The centrepiece of the restaurant is presence of a tuk tuk which many people in Thailand traditionally use to get around.

The kitchen serves only the finest and freshest Thai cuisine, cooked and prepared by Thai chefs who have years of experience creating and presenting authentic Thai dishes. The menu features the classics and all-time favourites of Pad Thai and Thai Green Curry. Diners, however, are recommended to explore the menu and discover dishes such as Sago Sai Moo; steamed tapioca ball with pork filling, Pad Pak Kanar; stir-fried spring greens with oyster sauce, garlic and chilli with added crispy belly pork or Hoy Tod; a crispy pan fried mussel pancake. This can all be washed down with the ever-popular Bubble Tea; Taiwanese milk tea or green tea flavour, served ice cold with chewy tapioca balls.

Students can enjoy a discount here. Please contact the restaurant for more information.
