My 1st visit here, why haven't I been before? The food was delicious - no complaints about anything!! Oh, actually this one..... The In-laws blabbed that it was our Birthdays and we were presented with a delicious Tiramisu with candles and a rendition of Happy Birthday! :-( Ha Ha All 3 tables had birthdays on them!! What a great night we had :-)

Situated in Upper Saxondale, close to the thriving village of Radcliffe-On-Trent, is Venezia: a stunning Italian Restaurant and Bar with a focus on exquisite cuisine.
The restaurant’s interior exudes class and elegance, coloured in rich creams, golds and chocolates: the contemporary sophistication creates a particularly captivating atmopshere. Gorgeous chandeliers hang from the ceilings and beautifully pattered curtains dress the sweeping windows all around. The menu is extensive and wonderfully put together, serving the finest quality Italian ingredients in expertly cooked dishes. Start with traditional Italian antipasti, such as the Capesante Con Spinici for a beautiful dish of scallops in a white wine, garlic and tomato sauce, served with splash of cream on a bed of spinach. A range of pasta dishes are on the menu too with popular favourites such as the signature dish Linguine Dello Chef: linguine pasta with fresh mussels, clams, baby prawns, pistachios and tomato pesto sauce. A generous pizza menu is available too, with thirteen stunning varieties that come topped with an array of beautiful ingredients including fresh tomatoes, cheese, chicken, mushroom and rosemary.
For something a little different, turn your attention to the fantastic Secondi menu, offering many wonderful Italian dishes that are a delight for your senses. Try the 8oz sirloin steak, pan-fried with porcini mushrooms and smoked parma ham with red wine and cream. The Saltimbocca Alla Romana is a beautiful Roman dish of sliced veal and ham cooked with white wine and sage – another brilliant addition to the menu.
