Visited with my partner at the weekend and was really impressed with everything. The staff were all so friendly and we looked after so well right from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! The bar staff are lovely and offered recommendations and let us know it was happy hour so cocktails were 2-for-1! Food was absolutely delicious - we had the saltfish fritters and jerk chicken wings to start followed by the Jamaican Mac Cheese and the Sunny Burger - all of which had a nice little fiery kick and plenty of flavour. Would highly recommend a visit!

We say…

Turtle Bay is the newest addition to the plethora of restaurants in the Cornerhouse entertainment complex in the heart of Nottingham city centre. Situated close to the Victoria shopping centre. Turtle Bay is perfect for a big night out, a quiet dinner for two, lunch with colleagues, a place to relax after a day of shopping or somewhere to break up the journey home.

Turtle Bay is all about capturing the Caribbean island vibe, something they achieve by serving up authentic dishes in laid-back, vibrant surroundings. The restaurant occupies the space once home to Strada Nottingham but the look couldn’t be more different. Bright colours, an open-plan theatre kitchen, large bar and plenty of booths, intimate tables and spaces perfect for large parties makes it an exciting, multi-functional venue.

Food and drink is the heart and soul of Caribbean culture and the menu at Turtle Bay Nottingham reflects this. Offering diners a chance to sample to kind of food that islanders enjoy at home, on the beach or in the street cafes, we can guarantee that every dish is rustic, authentic and always exploding with mouth-watering flavour. To transport you to the Caribbean without the hefty plane ticket prices, the very best ingredients are sourced both locally and from the far-flung corners of the islands themselves. All dishes, from the delicious starters to the one-pot wonders and the mouthwatering mains are all presented simply yet beautifully, allowing the flavours to really do the talking!

Of course, food is only half of the story. At Turtle Bay you’ll also find a wide selection of tropical island drinks that you can enjoy in the beach bar or with your meal. From fruity cocktails to a chilled glass of wine or an ice cold beer you’re sure to find something to refreshing to relax with whilst you enjoy quality time with your friends and family. Plus it's happy hour from 12pm to 7pm and 10pm to close every day - what more could you ask for?

Turtle Bay is the only Caribbean restaurant in Nottingham city centre. If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe, delicious food, chilled out atmosphere and delicious drinks, look no further than this exciting new addition to Nottingham’s famous restaurant scene.
