We say…

Tucked away in the quiet countryside just 5 minutes north-west of Kettering is Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa, a stunning and peaceful spot for diners to enjoy a seasonal British lunch or dinner. Surrounded by picturesque gardens, it is one of the most striking dining spaces in Northamptonshire.

Rushton Hall was formerly home to Sir Thomas Tresham and his family: a notable member of the English provincial Catholics who took part in the planning of the 1605 Gunpowder Plot. Today it has been transformed into a luxurious hotel, wedding and conference venue featuring 46 individually styled bedrooms, oak panelled beams, traditional fireplaces, a deluxe spa, conference rooms and the two rosette restaurant.

The Tresham restaurant excels in serving the very best in seasonal produce, using locally sourced ingredients where possible to create a sophisticated British menu. Head Chef Adrian Coulthard has created a menu to entice all the senses, boasting delicacies such as Blythburgh pork served with fresh sage gnocchi, pak choi and apple; loin of lamb served with sweetbread, onion puree, sprouting broccoli and samphire; and seared sea trout with crisp ratte potato, peas, broad beans, bacon, lemon and langoustine bisque.

The starters and desserts are equally as tempting offering exciting flavours that are presented beautifully. Part of the charm of the Tresham is that the menu is updated often to reflect what is in season.

The Tresham restaurant at Rushton Hall combines excellent service and classic fresh flavours to create a memorable dining experience. Situated in the middle of the glorious countryside it makes the perfect setting for a first-class meal.
