    Excellent meal, excellent restaurant.

Food was good but the blackberries' were not fresh! They were old!
    Champagne breakfast was overpriced!!

A belated Xmas get together with friends was lovely...plenty of choice at a reasonable price. Staff friendly & helpful. We will be going back.

Friendly and polite staff. High chair requested if available and it was already placed at the table (and clean). There were five of us - food arrived hot, at the same time and was very good. Would definitely recommend The Vine.

Thank you, Ron the Vine for taking care of us. The food and its presentation was incredible and the service was superb. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Booked afternoon tea as a surprise for my Sister in Law’s birthday, she thoroughly enjoyed the experience, would book again.

Sadly service was dreadfully slow, it was not that busy so didn’t really understand the delay.

Very good service and friendly staff the food was excellent and was served fairly quickly

Went for champagne breakfast to celebrate my daughter turning 18, had a great time, food was lovely and they even put a candle in her muffin at the end. Definitely go back.

I went for afternoon tea with my Gran and Mum. We had a lovely couple of hours. The staff couldn’t do any more for us and we were greeted with a big smile and shown to our table immediately. The food was amazing and presented beautifully. We enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to go back. The staff even gave us some Tupperware to take our scones and cream home as there was so much food for the set price that we couldn’t eat it all but we weren’t complaining :)

This was a brilliant venue to start my birthday weekend. Great value and fabulous food. Clean stylish and made me feel so special.

    A Lovely afternoon tea.

    Nice relaxing atmosphere great food.

Lovely food and plenty of it. Very good value for money & nice atmosphere too.

Had afternoon tea with 2 of my best friends, it was absolutely awesome, the staff were fabulous, made it very special. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Booked for the lounge breakfast for 5 of us, really nice food and good service. Will definitely go again.

We had tapas enjoyed by a girly reunion. The new catering manager was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful meal at The Vine on Valentines day, started off with a pink prosecco coctail which was lovely followed by 3 courses. Would have been nice if there was more than 1 choice for vegetarians but the 1 choice on there was lovely. Best dessert I think I have ever had, choclate baileys moose in a brandy snap basket amazing.

Amazing food. We will definitely be going back again in the new year.

Had a fantastic time although the snow outside was bad and the restaurant was empty. The staff couldn't be more helpfully. Food was lovely and would certainly visit again.

Champagne breakfast treat for my birthday, really nice. Service good but a bit slow for saying they were not busy. Would recommend and will definitely go again.

Excellent meal offering great value for money. Service was quick without being pushy and efficient in a relaxed and personal manner.
A good spread of dishes to suit all tastes and budgets. Will certainly return.

This was my Mums first experience of afternoon tea. It was to die for. The food was amazing and the service, outstanding.

Service was very efficient and attentive at The Vine.
    Food was tasty, cooked well.
Didn't have to wait long between courses.

    Cocktails delicious!

Pros : Food was nice service was good.

Cons: Very noisy couldn't hear myself think. I guess it needs a separate eating area far away from the bar.

We enjoyed a lovely anniversary meal at the Vine. Food and service both excellent.

Spot on, wouldn't change a thing!

We booked The Vine in Ashby for our anniversary meal. It was very nice, my husband had the burger and I had the belly pork. Both were presented very well, and tasted even better. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous food but a long time coming! We were only two people sat in the restaurant, no ambiance what so ever!

Nice setting, service a little slow. Steak cooked correctly, Stilton sauce too runny.

Thank you for a wonderful evening, we took my father for his 86th Birthday and everything was excellent!

Lovely afternoon tea, would highly recommend

I ordered a fillet steak which was cooked to perfection! Tender and succulent. A few happy but loud rugby fans were celebrating the England win but diners had to ask that they quietened down. Would definitely eat at the Vine again.

Great food, large portions, good value, just slightly lacking in the standard of service.

    Food great and service outstanding.

We booked the Vine for my 50th birthday with my family - the menu was fabulous and the service excellent - it was restaurant quality food at pub prices. My fussy nephew was catered for off menu and the venue is lovely. Our waitress was attentive and there were lots of little touches that made the experience more special. I would heartily recommend the Vine and would visit again!
