The Station Hotel restaurant is located within the gorgeous Derbyshire town of Ashbourne, on the southern edge of the Peak District. The restaurant is situated within close proximity to the stunning Tissington Trail, making it an ideal spot for lunch or dinner before a stroll in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. 

The restaurant is one of very few in the area to be awarded an AA rosette, enabled through its diligently put together menu and attentive waiting staff. 

Inside, the restaurant is warm and cosy, thus is especially inviting in the winter months where diners can enjoy a hearty log fire. The interior is decadently finished with a grand high ceiling and elaborate wallpaper adorning the walls. The dining room boasts wonderfully designed table chairs, beautiful rugs and giant windows letting sunlight pour in whilst diners enjoy the delicious cuisine. 

The menu encompasses a wide variety of quality dishes, mixing traditional ingredients with exotic touches. For starters, diners can enjoy seared pigeon breast with beetroot jelly, salad and horseradish dressing, before enjoying a mouth-watering main such as chicken breast with fresh baby vegetables and fondant potato or a juicy sirloin steak with bacon, wild mushrooms and a red wine jus. For dessert, The Station Hotel restaurant offers an incredibly tasty spiced apple compote with sweet blackberry ice cream.
