We say…

Set in the quaint village of Little Eaton, just 15 minutes from Derby city centre along the B6179 is The Queens Head. Set in a grade 2 listing coaching inn dating back to 1835, this stone-built pub serves quality traditional British dishes, alongside something a little different.

As you enter the pub you will notice the original main entrance, which was reinstated during its renovation back in November 2010, giving the pub an authentic vibe to the surroundings. Similarly, the low beamed ceilings and brick walls decorating the pub give off a warm ambiance of a traditional British pub. Furthermore, it is the ideal place for food if you're after somewhere to enjoy in the rare warm, sunny days as their garden has been transformed into the ultimate al fresco experience for the summer days.

The Queens Head prides itself in its locally sourced ingredients which are prepared on site for your liking, the chefs' attention to detail ensures every dish is created with care. If you are visiting with friends or family, check out their sharing plates, such as their Derbyshire sharer which is made up of home baked bread, honey and mustard glazed ham, homemade black pudding and rosemary sausage rolls, locally sourced cheese, homemade piccalilli, garden radish and spring onion salad. For your main, go for one of their traditional dishes such as their homemade fish pie with a cheesy mashed potato topping, served with garden peas. Or why not try their signature King of Queen's burger which is 100% beef served with classic Queen's Head tomato salsa, baby gem lettuce and tomato, topped with pulled pork, Cheddar cheese and onion rings.

If you're after great food in a great location, look no further than The Queen's Head in Little Eaton!
