Quiet Monday but food was spot on, courses not rushed - teenagers loved it too.

    5 stars for everything. Amazing.

    5 stars for everything. Amazing.

Had a lovely meal and enjoyed a few nice cocktails at The Liquorist. Service and atmosphere were great!

The food was lovely, perhaps except for the steak that one of the four of us had.

The food was gorgeous. We ordered starters and mains and everything came hot and no delays at all. Would highly recommend The Liquorist to anyone. Staff were fantastic.

Meal was delicious. Service quick and friendly. Only slight down side was the loud music

Food was good. Service was slow though we were sat waiting for 15 mins for our drinks and same again when we reorder another round.

Really enjoyed our experience just found the starters a little over priced.

It's a shame really, because apart from my steak everything was perfect, but it was 8 oz of gristle, I couldn't chew it. I would go back but choose something else.

Beautiful setting, really nice place. Brilliant food, would definitely go back.

The only hiccup was that the online menu was not quite the same as at Liquorist on the day. This created some confusion for both myself and the restaurant. Approach of one member of staff was lacking but others dealt with challenges really well. Overall really pleased. Will definitely recommend

Fab food, really friendly servers and a lovely atmosphere would highly recommend.

A very quiet early Tuesday before theatre so a bit quiet.Food was good though and service was attentive, would definitely go again on a busier evening so atmosphere was better.

We were 12 for lunch, the food was good (although one main was sent back) the service good, and mostly left to ourselves after orders and service. We were mostly happy with the afternoon.

Our first time to eat here, loved the decor and staff were friendly and on the ball. Would defiantly dine here again!

We dined on the 2 courses for £14 offer and what a pleasant suprise, we thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back!

I had a lovely early evening meal here with friends last week and the food was delicious. We ordered from the set menu which is extremely good value with quite a bit of choice. Staff were attentive and the decor nice and cosy. I can especially recommend the steak, profiteroles and the cocktails. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely atmosphere and hard working servers. Most of our food was lovely and really good value but 2 out of the 5 dishes were cold and had to be returned. Overall I would go back as it was very tasty.

Food was very nice just had to wait a while which let it down

Food was very nice just had to wait a while which let it die.

An amazing night with amazing food and drink. I would recommend this place to everyone xx

Great food and all cooked perfectly! Service was super! (Jemma?) thank you

Really enjoyed food, drinks and quite spectacular setting. Very good service. Will return to the Liquorist soon!

Great food at the Liquorist - especially fish cake starters. Fizz bowl is great value too!

We say…

Greek Street in Leeds city centre has a new concept bar, called The Liquorist, that may well have all the cocktail lovers flocking to the business district.

The Liquorist is set to be a more relaxed venue than its predecessor; the popular bar The Living Room. The Liquorist is somewhere you can nip into any night of the week, whether it’s for a special occasion or just after work drinks. During the day, however it is more chilled out, perfect for a quiet catch up with friends or family.

The bar brings together a huge selection of spirits, with bottled beers from around the globe and a wine list that guarantees there’s something for everyone. It’s the cocktails which set The Liquorist apart though. They offer all the classics, giving a few of them their own unique twist – take the mojito for example, they’ve got six different varieties for you to choose from, so if you want to stick with what you know, you can, but if you want to be adventurous, there’s plenty of room for that too. The food has something for everyone too, with the more hearty dishes like steaks and burgers alongside lighter salads. There are a few stand out dishes on The Liquorist menu such as the hefty 20oz beef rib taking pride of place alongside tender slow-cooked pork ribs and a loaded burger that comes complete with swiss cheese, bacon, pulled pork and crispy onions. For those of you trying to top up your five a day, they’ve got a whole array of salads, which sound deliciously creative. If you’re looking for something vegetarian, why not try the Huckleberry & Walnut Salad? It mixes avocado, spinach, apple, cranberries, blue cheese and walnuts, layering on a huckleberry dressing to make something rather unique.

All in all, The Liquorist in Leeds seems to have a makings of a popular little bar great for a gathering of friends or even a date night.
