We say…

Nestled in the picturesque village of Lambley, just outside the city of Nottingham, is The Lambley. The Lambley is a restaurant and bar that is as equally as charming as its rural surroundings. Located on the corner of Main Street and Catfoot Lane, opposite the Lambley Primary School, this venue has been at the heart of village life for many years.

Surrounded by an abundance of greenery and with plenty of free customer parking, The Lambley is a popular dining destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre without having to travel for hours. To the front of the venue is a large enclosed garden that is ideal for enjoying a bite to eat when the weather is pleasant, it also doubles as the perfect place for the kids to run around while the adults enjoy a glass or two of wine. Inside The Lambley is a bright and spacious dining room and lounge bar. Mixing traditional features with contemporary design, note the light wood beams, cream bar and comfortable leather seating, The Lambley is stylish yet rustic enough to fit in with the rural surroundings.

Dining at The Lambley is incredible value for money. Chef Joseph Aram and his team pride themselves on only using the freshest seasonal and locally-sourced produce to create their take on classic British and European cuisine. The menus change on a regular basis but, when available, recommended dishes include the grilled Hywinds Farm 10oz rib-eye steak served with a cherry tomato and rocket salad and twice cooked, hand-cut, chunky chips; grilled cod fillet with herb crushed new potato cake and roasted cherry tomatoes with salsa verde; and slow-roasted locally reared pork belly and hogs pudding with apple pearly barley and curly kale with a herb jus. A great value set menu is also available throughout the week and people travel from miles around to indulge in their classic Sunday roast.

If you  are looking for somewhere to relax away from the rat race with a hearty plate of food and great company, look no further than The Lambley restaurant in Lambley village. You will be hard pushed to find a venue that offers such delightful surroundings and exquisite food this close to Nottingham city without sacrificing parking, atmosphere, quality or ambience, all of which The Lambley has by the bucket full.
