Strange little venue but charming and welcoming nonetheless. The cafeteria style dining is interesting but tasty and the veggie bake and chocolate cakes were delicious. Would go again.

We say…
The Good Earth is a vegetarian restaurant in Leicester city centre. Tucked away on Free Lane, just off Halford Street, it offers a haven from the hustle and bustle of the busy city centre. You can find this restaurant just round the corner from the Connexions building and next to the lovely Pot Pourri shop.
To reach the restaurant you have to climb a rather steep set of stairs which makes it feel like you’re going on an adventure. The dining room is homely and cosy and features dark wooden halls, lit by candles, and wooden beams throughout, which creates a restful ambience where diners can relax and escape from the city for a few hours.
The Good Earth is an independent, family-run, cafeteria and restaurant offering a good selection of mains, salads and soups as well as a mouth-watering selection of home-made desserts. The menu is predominantly vegetarian, with a few vegan options available as well. It is perfect for a quick and healthy lunch and the restaurant is open on Friday evenings with live music playing.
For a good range of vegetarian meals and cakes, look no further than The Good Earth vegetarian restaurant in Leicester.
