Dating back to 1485, the Bakers Arms is celebrating the discovery of Richard III who was slaughtered at Bosworth in the same year. Contained in the seasonal menu is a medieval dish, made from local ingredients to a medieval recipe involving local beef and chicken, juniper berries, mace, cloves, prunes, wine-soaked fruits, suet, dates and other very historic ingredients. The menu is extensive, seasonal and varied, with dishes ranging from sharing platters to exquisite main courses, home-made puddings and desserts. The serving staff are well versed on food and will assist you in your choice. The atmosphere is unique and the overall experience is second to none.
