I think this might be the best Thai restaurant we have visited so far in the East Midlands. Had one of their set menus (there are a few to choose from!) and everything was really delicious, fresh and full of flavour. Think we will be visiting here again!

We say…

Situated in the heart of Loughborough town centre, on the Rushes, you will find Thai Grand, a spacious and contemporary Thai restaurant that has been serving authentic Thai food ever since it opened its doors to hungry visitors, residents and students in September 2005.

Seven years on and Thai Grand is still going strong. With a firm and loyal customer base, its set to continue on in the same fashion for many years. The restaurant is vast and spacious and features an open plan dining room and bar that fuses contemporary design with authentic Thai décor to create a bright and airy venue in the day time and a cosy atmosphere in the evening. With a combination of small tables for couples and larger areas that are perfect for huge parties and gatherings, Thai Grand is suitable for all occasions and events.

All of the chefs at Thai Grand Loughborough are Thai themselves. Not only does this guarantee authentic food every time, you can also rest assured that you will be enjoying Thai food at its absolute best. Renowned for perfectly balancing salty, sweet, sour and spicy, Thai cuisine is an art form and there is no one better equipped to create spectacular dishes, every time, than the chefs at Thai Grand. You can expect to find classic dishes such as Thai Green Curry and Pad Thai alongside more regional specialities such as Pla Sam Rod, deep-fried crispy fish in a slightly sweet, sour and spicy sauce, topped with chilli, onion, red and green peppers  and Ped Song Kruang, Thai Grand Duckling, of stir-fried duck in a light batter with vegetables and topped with crab meat and the chef’s special sauce.

If you are looking for an authentic Thai meal, look no further than Thai Grand in Loughborough. Not only is the food delicious but the staff are polite, the venue is spacious and the atmosphere is relaxed yet lively, making it a real delight to dine at.
