Took a party of 14 there mid week and everyone had a fantastic meal

Enjoyed every minute and mouthful. Will definitely return to try the other lunch menu options

Initial confusion on arrival. Took a few minutes to locate my booking details. All resolved though and had a lovely meal. Well presented and really tasty. Service good. Would definitely return.

Lovely Valentine meal. Set meal. All delicious!

    Lovely lunch at Sukhothai!

Slightly disappointed. I may be being over critical but having been here a few years ago and to the one in Harrogate I feel standards have slipped. We booked for the Sunday buffet as we wanted flexibility and pre booked. It was what I expected. Nothing fantastic but not lower tier. The other diners who had gone for a la carte looked suitably impressed. Staff uniforms have seen better days but they do work incredibly hard. I would go back but would like to see improvements.

Super relaxing environment. Staff couldn't do enough to help make our experience so enjoyable. Food was tasty, fresh and hot. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our meal. The mixed starter was good although the batter on the veg was perhaps not quite as light as it could have been. The sea bass wrapped in banana skin was slightly dry. The curry was super as was the sweet and sour. We'll definitely go again

    An excellent evening

Lovely food. Attentive staff nice atmosphere.

We had a great time celebrating my granddaughter's recent graduation at Sukhothai. The food was excellent and served in a great atmosphere by friendly staff.

Sukhothai is a lovely restaurant, authentic, relaxed atmosphere, we had the buffet, good quality food, and table service in clearing plates was excellent!

A great meal, very quick service, a great atmosphere.

Very pleasant but quiet this lunchtime at Sukhothai.

Service excellent, as was the food.

Superb all round at Sukhothai Leeds.....couldn't fault anything!

Excellent experience. The restaurant is impressively decorated and well set out. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and quite clearly freshly made. The lunch menu was great value for money considering the quality of the food and the city centre location. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

We are regulars at Sukothai and as usual we received first class service with delicious food. It was my birthday celebration and we had my two grandchildren with us aged 10 and 7. They too were looked after with a tempting children's menu. Looking forward to our next visit!

We say…

Conveniently located on Leeds City Centre’s South Parade, Sukhothai is one of a family of Thai restaurants based around Leeds. One of the top restaurant names in the city, Sukhothai is a favourite for authentic Thai cuisine, making a name for itself across the country by being consistently included in the Good Food Guide.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated in a relaxing, contemporary style, with plenty of features sent over from Thailand to create an authentic space. With plenty of seating, whatever the size of your party, Sukhothai is a wonderful place in particular to catch up with friends whilst enjoying some great food. The walls are adorned with canvases and wooden carvings, traditional Thai artworks, whilst statues and fresh flowers keep the restaurant bright and cheerful. An attractive restaurant with a chic, stylish finish, Sukothai is also the ideal place for a special occasion.

There’s an extensive menu on offer with plenty of options for everyone, including lots of vegetarian choices across the menu. Start with something traditional, light and bursting with flavour, such as Gung Chup Pang Tod, tiger prawns in crispy batter, served with sweet chilli sauce. Nua Yang is also a popular dish to start, made from strips of beef marinated in oyster sauce and honey, skewered and barbecued, finished off with a garnish of sesame seeds and served with a soy dipping sauce. Some great soups and salads are on the menu too, such as Tom Juad soup, made with glass noodles, vegetables, chicken or pork, finished with a sprinkle of fried garlic and fresh coriander. For your main, choose from a variety of dishes made with a selection of rich, fresh ingredients, with choices of duck, vegetables, seafood, noodles and rice available.

A fantastic restaurant with a brilliant reputation, Sukhothai Leeds City Centre is a well-loved favourite in the area that boasts excellent Thai cuisine, offering a beautiful interior and excellent customer service to match.
