Absolutely amazing. My husband and I have been before but first time booking online.

We arrived to a friendly welcome and was taken to our table and offered drinks before going up to the amazing starters selection which is always delicious. The waiting staff were very efficient, taking your empty plates straight away from the table so that you can go back and get some more. The mains are great with the wok man doing a great job as usual and the curry selection is good. We love this place as it is good value and good quality. The only downside on our visit was children not being watched by their parents around the desserts and making a mess at the ice cream machine, switching it on and leaving it to run all over the floor!! But we would definitely return.

    I booked booth which I didn’t get
    Otherwise it was fantastic

Go dine have the wrong price, had to ring up and book as I didn't get confirmation of table. Otherwise the restaurant was good just need to book with them not a third party.

Been before it is what it is ... good service. Good variation of food on offer.. good pricing

I always prefer Slice of India!

As per usual delicious food and lot's of choices. Sweet's counter wasn't as good as it usually is and the kids missed the sweets.

The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing.

I would love to go again!

Really enjoyable evening with family. Good selection of food and pizza for the kids. Staff very helpful. Would definitely go again.

Amazing evening upon arrival we were served with complimentary champagne and canapes (it was valentines day), the service was exceptional and the food was lovely!

Food as usual was excellent at Slice of India, service spot on, nothing was too much trouble, waitresses friendly and attentive.. Not a place for a romantic dinner for 2 on a Saturday night but great for groups of 4 and above.

Excellent team members and delicious and traditional food, all at Derby's buffet restaurant, Slice of India.

The food is high quality at the Slice of India, as well as plentiful. The all you can eat set up works brilliantly, as you’ll want to try some of everything before committing to your favourites. Enjoy the free refills of soft drinks, too, which help you pace your meal appropriately. To start with, try the fresh salad bar as well as tucking into traditional delicacies like onion bhajis, kebabs and chicken wings. For your main course, make sure to experience the stir-fry counter, where you can choose your ingredients for the expert chef to cook freshly in front of you. Also available are authentic curry dishes, naan breads and freshly made rice. Don’t miss the desserts, either, as you’ll love the jelly, ice cream and cakes as much as the variety of Indian desserts on offer.

The restaurant space is large and open-plan, so it can accommodate big gatherings as well as smaller get-togethers. You’ll love the elegant silver tableware and the fresh flowers, which lend a sense of occasion to even the most casual catch ups with friends.
