Soft lighting and gentle background music further enhances the atmosphere whilst complimenting the delicious food on offer. With on-street parking available, it’s the perfect venue to get together with friends and family for an evening of good food, laughter and conversation. Spread over two floors, it is as if the restaurant was made with every occasion in mind. From large parties celebrating birthdays to couples looking for an intimate dinner and friends enjoying a catch up, Simla is able to cater for every event and make it special with their trademark warm service, attention to detail and exceptional food.

The menu is extensive and offers several of the classics that you would expect to find in an Indian restaurant as well as a few you wouldn’t. All dishes are prepared fresh to order and made using only the finest ingredients and the results are well worth the wait. The starters are designed to tantalise your taste buds and prepare you for the complex flavours and delicate balance of spices to come with the main courses. To begin, the stuffed Bhaji, chicken Pakora and samosas will go down a treat. For mains, the Nawabi Tikka, a unique dish of chicken and lamb topped with cheese and fresh tomato sauce served with rice and curry sauce, comes very highly recommend as does the garlic chilli chicken cooked with fresh garlic, chillies, onions and tomatoes with fresh herbs and spices. If you can’t decide, the knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to offer their recommendations and descriptions of the dishes and, as everything is cooked fresh, you can request for the heat to be turned up or down to your taste. Every Monday evening, Simla host their popular buffet night where you can eat all you like for a fixed price. This weekly event is highly popular and to guarantee yourself a table, pre-booking is strongly recommended.
