Food was good on the whole at Rocket @ Saltwater, but my burger was a bit dry...only because I like them a bit moist. Will definitely go back but choose a different dish. The sweet potato chips was really good :)

Fish dishes were fine but my lamb cutlets weren't exactly cutlets and rather than being served pink, they were raw. Didn't have time to send them back as we had a theatre booking and they'd taken a while to be served in the first place. The table next to ours arrived after us and were served before us, I suspect as they had pizza. More like a fast food restaurant when busy. Atmosphere was great, wine was very nice.

The resturant was great! Super decor and ambiance. The food however was poor in that the main meal was served before we had finished the starter. The meal was taken back only to be served 10 mins later COLD! Surf and turf, steak, prawns and calamari served cold. Not nice. We were told it had been done again fresh. This was not the case.

Rocket @ Saltwater is a very nice restaurant, very quiet with us being the only ones in the restaurant for most of the night, food was lovely and service was great, I would recommend for a nice meal!

First visit to the Rocket@Saltwater with my sister. We both had the salt and pepper squid which was lovely followed by the "Steak Tuesday" deal. We both had Ribeye and they were cooked to perfection, accompanied by Homemade onion rings and chips and a lovely Roquefort sauce. Really nice food and excellent service. Will return again as the a la carte menu looked fab too. Fully recommended!

This was a new restaurant to me. I chose it because it was wonderfully close to the Theatre Royal. Go dine were very helpful as always as I don't know Nottingham City centre that well.
As it was Tuesday, we had the Steak night offer which was ÂŁ10. It was very tasty although my daughter commented that she wouldn't have wanted to pay ÂŁ19 off the a la carte menu for it.
I felt the staff were not as attentive as they could be because it wasn't very busy and the meal was on the cool side which I think gives the impression of the kitchen being a little lacksadasical (bearing in mind it was not busy at all).
But on saying all of that, I would be happy to go there again, for the convenience of the position, the meal was good, and there was quite a nice feeling about the place, especially as it was away from the hustle and bustle!

I took a friend to lunch at this restaurant as a birthday treat. The ambience wasn't great. I have eaten there in the evening and it's much better. The restaurant is too large for a cosy lunch. The menu and food is average and not particularly good value.

The menu is exciting at Rocket, but it's too dark to be able to see (a) the menu and (b) what you're eating. Food was served proficiently by a professional waiter and there was a substantial yet not overwhelming amount of food. Enjoyable to eat (and have a cocktail as well!) there but the dimness was a real issue.

We had a really wondeful evening, the waitress that served us was really friendly and helpful, the portion sizes for the food are MASSIVE, we both really enjoyed what we had - no room for dessert so going back again soon as we've heard that the chocolate brownie is to die for. All round lovely evening - we recommend this to others.

Limited choice of food, with salads or pizza available. I had a pizza which was nice but slightly undercooked in the middle. Nice for a quick bite to eat, was more like bar food than restaurant quality. Good service and a relaxed atmosphere.

The venue looked more of a cocktail bar than restaurant but it was still an enjoyable evening. The food was surprisingly nice, i enjoyed the slow cooked pork belly which was lovely, and my partner had chicken which she said was cooked very well. Turned- out very nicely as after that, we sat down at the bar and had a couple of cocktails!! Ended up being a very nice evening, many thanks!
