Blooming gorgeous as ever but too stuffed for pudding after the first 2 courses. Service is pretty amazing too.

I've been to this place many times and can't fault the food, service or price however, I have a gripe with the alcohol served here.

I do enjoy a gin and tonic but their tonic water is always flat. I was told that it's served from a large bottle that comes from Aldi. I no longer order shorts as a result and thought I'd try the wine. I tried 3 types and each one was awful so now I stick with water. I really wouldn't mind paying extra for quality drinks but I will return because the food is exceptional.

Good food and value for money, very friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. First visit and will be going back again.

Lunchtime offer for myself and my mum was lovely. Staff were very friendly. I only wish we had room for a pudding. So we are going again for coffee and cake.

No-fuss no frills just what we wanted.

Great meal here with friendly helpful staff and very reasonable prices. Will visit again.

As always, Roma delivered good quality, excellent value, no-frills meal. Two mains, sides and two glasses of wine each for under £40. A perfect early dinner venue if you're seeing an evening show at Curve.

Food v. good. Good value for money. The booked table was ready for us. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Upstairs was booked for a party so not available. Smallish place. Busy all the time we were there.

Lovely meal but one star removed as they don’t do chocolate mousse anymore. Sea bass well cooked and tasty - he liked his steak. Sides nicely cooked and presented. A gorgeous glass of Primitivo. Chocolate salami and pannacotta were good. The service was charming. Just no chocolate mousse.

Our first visit here and will not be our last. Particularly impressed with the house red wine at a very reasonable price. The food and service was first class. Make sure you take cash as cards not accepted but wasn't a problem.

Very good service very friendly staff & good company.

Really relaxed friendly place and the food was great. My 19 year old grandson was most impressed! Must have been good lol

Lovely meal. Excellent choices. Shame the booking online wasn’t sent through to the cafe. Luckily plenty of free tables

We have been here several times and had great food. This time, unfortunately, it was only average. Nice people, good service, good price but disappointing. Perhaps they have changed chef?

    Fabulous value as always...definitely recommend..

I really love this place. It is fairly small with a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive but do not intrude. We went for a pre theatre meal which was served quickly allowing us plenty of time to enjoy it. Can recommend it.

The meal was spot on and delicious. The restaurant could do with being a bit warmer. Lovely staff and friendly. Would definitely dine there again.

Although this is the first time I've booked online, I frequently visit Cafe Roma with friends and always feel welcome.
The food is always well presented, very tasty and extremely good value for money.
The staff are polite, professional and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cafe Roma to anyone.

A lovely meal with friendly staff.

The food and service was excellent as always, fresh and tasty and very good value for money.

A lovely warm welcome as always at Cafe Roma followed by tasty honest Italian food. This place is a little Gem.

As usual a fantastic freshly cooked meal a really great place run by a lovely family.

Lovely family meal to celebrate my birthday

Small friendly restaurant. Excellent food and service. Had a lovely relaxing pre theatre dinner once again.

Delicious Italian food as always, we had the lunch time pasta special which can't be beaten for value. The Restaurant has a friendly & informal atmosphere perfect for lunch with friends.

    Lovely festive Christmas menu.

We had a fabulous meal and the service was spot on! We had a few people running late and they were so understanding and accommodating! Will definitely visit again!

Our first visit to Café Roma but we will certainly go again. A really tasty, good value lunch.

We had a lovely relaxed pre-theatre meal, the staff remembered us from our last visit which was nice, the food was good honest tasty Italian, just what you would expect & very reasonably priced, we will definitely be returning again soon.

Friendly and attentive staff. Food was tasty and came along quickly. A great merlot!

This restaurant is a little gem, it has a lovely friendly feel, the food is great tasting basic Italian. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent meal at Roma Cafe, beautifully cooked and served. Welcoming atmosphere enhanced by discreet live background music. Very convenient for Curve & car park. Anticipate returning soon!

Booked a table for two, we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table. The waitress took our drinks order and gave us time to look at the menu. The food we ordered was plentiful and tasty and was served to us in good time. We had two courses each and shared a bottle of wine and the bill came to £41, bargain. Will definitely return!

Excellent meal and service. Very nice atmosphere!

Booked for 3 of us pre- theatre meal. Arrived earlier than booked which wasn't a problem, waitress shown me to the table whilst I waited for the other two. The table could've been a little bigger as we like to share our orders but we managed ok. The food was delicious with a friendly atmosphere. We had Wine, three courses and coffee, my friend has a Curve card and we got 15% off the food, the bill came to £65 an absolute bargain. Will definitely return.

We had a delicious family meal at Roma Cafe. The menu had lots of choice; salad, pasta, pizza and meats. The lunchtime offer was excellent value and the food freshly prepared and delicious with generous portions. The service was prompt and friendly, overall a great family early teatime option. Would also be great for evening meal, child free!

Roma Cafe has a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Freshly cooked, homemade food at very reasonable prices.

We say…

Family-run eatery brings together the best of Italy in home-cooked pastas, pizzas, calzones, cakes & more in Leicester's busy city centre.

Roma's extensive menu bursts with Italian and Meditteranean flavours with an emphasis on authenticity and affordability. Specials include their crusty, toasted Bruschetta Mista topped with stringy mozzarella, fresh tomato and tangy onion as well as the refreshing traditionally-served Parma ham and melon for those seeking something a little different.

Vegetarians can't go wrong with Roma's abundance of veggie dishes, including the Melanzane Parmigiana where grilled aubergine, moreish parmesan cheese and tomatoes are layered and baked to finish.

The interior is cosy and simple, blending a personal and relaxed feeling of family with attractive elements of rustic Italian charm. For something a little more special, the surroundings allow for a perfect intimate candle-lit meal.

Roma offer a wide array of desserts for afters or rich Italian-blend coffees for something a little lighter. For lunch, Roma's Pasta, garlic bread & a drink comes in a treat!

Roma Cafe Bar & Restaurant can be found just a few minutes' walk from the Curve Theatre and St Martins Square Shopping Centre in Leicester city centre.
