The food at Crown Hotel is lovely and matches the excellent hotel - I had the rump steak and my girlfriend had the lasagne. We ate in the courtyard which was great, amazing views too.

It was my first time visiting The Crown Hotel and I had a very pleasant stay. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, the room was warm and comfortable, and the meal at the restaurant was delicious and filling! Would book again!

nice food, a little small but worth it, and a very hospitable host who made us feel very welcome. A lovely evening followed by some picturesque views.

We say…

The Crown Hotel,  one of three hotels owned by All Saint’s Hotels Limited, alongside The Exeter Arms Easton on the Hill and The White Hart, Ufford, is the only one in the heart of Stamford. This makes it an ideal spot for locals as well as visitors, as it looks out onto All Saints Church as is near to local attractions such as the shopping centre.

Serving an extensive menu consisting mainly of British food, there is a very traditional atmosphere which manages to mix formality with a relaxed and friendly vibe. One of the most popular dishes is the 10oz rump steak served with mushroom, tomato, onion rings and chips, and this is likely due to the hand-reared nature of the dishes: a theme within all three hotels run by owners Michael and Sue is that they use as many locally-sourced ingredients as possible to give guests a genuine taste of what Stamford produce has to offer.

For those wanting to enjoy the fresh air, they are welcome to dine in The Courtyard. Providing excellent view, it can be used for a few drinks or a meal:  as well as a lighter menu perfect for the summertime, the usual lunch and dinner menus are also available to enjoy al fresco.

Alongside some great dining locations to choose from, there is a bar which is a lively and exciting place to spend an evening . They offer an extensive wine list as well as a number of cocktails, as well as the usual spirits and soft drinks, so it is the perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Offering excellent food which promises to be as home grown as possible, and a great dining experience both indoors and out, The Crown Hotel Stamford is sure to have guests returning.
