Fantastic meal great service and excellent quality.

We had a very nice Sunday meal & everyone was happy with their choices. I very much enjoyed the risotto with a lovely piece of cod & chorizo. My husband said his steak pie was really tasty & my brother & his girlfriend enjoyed their roast dinners. Staff are friendly & helpful. We had lovely desserts too. It was good value for money we felt. I will definitely be returning soon.

Just twenty minutes from Peterborough and with easy access to the A1 it provides the perfect setting for travel-weary minds, wedding receptions, Sunday lunch with the family or even a romantic getaway.

The pub and restaurant offers comfort year round as during the winter the lounge bar has warm and welcoming open fires for you to snuggle in front of whilst in the summer months al fresco dining on the patio or drinks on the grassy banks of the River Nene allow you to fully enjoy the sunshine and the delicious offerings from the kitchen.

The restaurant team go that extra mile to source the freshest seasonal produce from local supplier. Their hard work has paid off and in 2010 the restaurant was awarded and AA Rosette for culinary excellence, which was then reconfirmed in 2011 and again in 2012, cementing it as one of the finest pub restaurants in the area. The a la carte menu and regularly updated specials boards feature plenty of classic British dishes as well as exciting new creations and decadent desserts. Steak lovers will particularly love the fact that The Queens Head serve Wagyu beef steak and Black Angus Steak, arguably two of the best breeds of cattle for steak in the world.
