Food was excellent, service was ok, will be booking again.

We booked at Pizza Savai as a pre Motorpoint Arena meal. They are clearly geared up for this as everything ran smoothly and swiftly despite them being very busy. No complaints, would happily book again

    Great meal at Pizzeria Savai!

Food was delicious, service outstanding, friendly welcoming staff. Highly recommend & will definitely be returning.

Great atmosphere and great food! Great for a casual dinner date!

We shared the most delicious garlic breads to start, two of us had the chicken which was very tasty and cooked perfectly. My son had a pizza which was thin and crispy and I had the lasagne which was extremely good.

We then had tiramisu and Irish coffee, all excellent!

The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful and we will certainly be paying another visit very soon.

    Gorgeous food and fantastic staff!

Couldn't fault anything. Will certainly book again next time we are in Nottingham

Pizzeria with additional Italian dishes if you want a change. Pizzas are tasty and fresh out the oven. Service was attentive, good spot a few mins from the train station too.

Came here before Rod Stewart comcert. Table booked for 6pm, service was excellent and the restaurant was buzzing, great atmosphere.

Pizzeria Savai is a nice little place hidden away, great environment but food was a little too salty.

We had the Calamari and the Salmon & Prawn starters - both superb quality. For our mains my girlfriend had the Calazone Traditional (I'm having it next time) and for me I had the Divola Pizza, it was extremely delicious and just the right amount of chillies to make it spicy but not overpowering. The only negative comment is that we had to ask for Steak knives as the ones pre laid out could not cut the cooked pastry on both main courses. Staff very quickly supplied us with the steak knives after we asked. Great service all round. Will come again.

Great food, service with a smile, lovely new decor. Will be back soon guys!

Went for a very large party near Xmas time, everything went very smoothly and without any hiccups! All of the team enjoyed it and had a really good time. The venison main was superb!

We found Savai recently and have now made it our Italian restaurant for Nottingham, beats the other chains hands down!

Very good food and great service considering how busy it was on a Saturday night! Highly recommended!

Had a very nice meal with a large party. Enjoyed a steak main course and a really nice goats cheese salad to start. Would recommend for large parties.

We say…

Located on Poplar Street, just down the road from the Capital FM Ice Arena at the BBC roundabout, you will find Pizzeria Savai. Serving authentic Italian cuisine to the masses since 1998, Savai has become a firm favourite with those who are looking for a true taste of Italy in Nottingham.

The first authentic pizzeria in Nottingham, Savai occupies Plumptre House and spans across two floors, creating a large, multi-functional venue that is suitable for everything from intimate dinners to large group parties, conferences and wedding parties.

The main attraction in the restaurant is the stunning open plan theatre kitchen. With a lack of independent traditional pizzerias in the city, Pizzeria Savai is the place that should pop into your head when looking for a great pizza. Diners are able to watch their pizzas being hand-tossed and prepared before being thrust into the stone oven and baked to perfection before being generously smothered in delicious toppings: favourites include the Natalina with mozzarella, gorgonzola and sautéed spinach, and the Francese with mozzarella, brie, chicken and bacon. It's not only the pizzas that attract diners to Savai: described by John Lewis magazine as serving 'the best pasta in town', you can also expect to tuck into a delicious array of pasta, meat and vegetarian dishes too!

Whether you are meeting friends, having a business lunch or a relaxed informal meal, Savai are able to cater for your every need with their mouth-watering menu and hand-picked wine list. If you are looking to host a private party, wedding reception or celebrate a special occasion, then the banqueting suite is perfect for your informal or formal sit-down dinner. Able to hold up to 100 diners with the option of a hot buffet style menu or something more structured, the team will ensure that your event runs smoothly from start to finish. For businesses, the conferencing suite is decked out with all the mod-cons and is available for half-day or full-day hire complete with tea, coffee and biscuits upon arrival as well as lunch in the main restaurant.

If you are looking for the ultimate Italian dining experience, we highly recommend a visit to Pizzeria Savai in Nottingham. With food that's second-to-none, a relaxed atmosphere and a hand-picked wine list, you really can’t go wrong.
