Really attractive restaurant in the heart of the Lace Market. I had steak which was very nice, although I was a little taken-a-back at how expensive the meal was.

We say…

Situated in the Lace Market, a lively area of Nottingham that is renowned for its trendy bars and restaurants, is a beautiful Italian restaurant named Piccolino. Found on Weekday Cross, just round the corner from the Nottingham Contemporary Art Gallery and other restaurants such as La Tasca, Yo! Sushi and The Cock and Hoop.

Piccolino Nottingham is just one of twenty-two Piccolino restaurants that are scattered across the UK. The brand is rapidly expanding as the loyal customer base, and demand for the delicious food increases. Each of the restaurants is decorated slightly differently to suit the building that houses it, but one thing remains constant; the modern, contemporary dining spaces, airy and bright in the daytime and warm and welcoming in the evening. The open kitchen provides entertainment and the chance to watch the highly skilled Chefs prepare your meal fresh and right in front of your eyes.

Passionate about authentic Italian food, Piccolino serves a combination of traditional and contemporary Italian dishes that showcase the very best flavours of Italy. The menu has been carefully crafted to give a varied representation of modern and traditional food and with a good selection of antipasti, starters, mains and delicious desserts you will be spoilt for choice. You can expect to see dishes such as Cannelloni with a slow cooked beef ragu and a pecorino cheese sauce; Osso Bucco Milanese, a slow braised veal shin with fragrant saffron risotto and gremolata; and Branzino con gremolata, a whole boneless seabass with parsley, garlic and lemon. With meat, pizza, pasta, fish, risotto, salads, grills and a good selection of vegetarian dishes, there is something that suits everyone’s tastes from the adventurous to those who know what they like.

Piccolino Italian restaurant in Nottingham is a highly popular venue that is perfect for a romantic evening or a relaxing lunch. Its close proximity to the hub of Nottingham’s nightlife makes it an ideal venue to dine at before heading to some of the trendy bars in the Lace Market, or before a show at the Capital FM Arena.
