    The food was excellent at the Navigation Inn, great service and good selection of drinks including a selection of cask ales from small breweries.

    We found The Navigation Inn to be a delightful little pub restaurant. It has a homely and traditional setting and yet has all the comforts you’d expect. With charming food at a well affordable price the Inn offers catering for all sorts of events. With warm welcoming staff, well cooked food the Navigation Inn is a must!

    Great for a hearty meal after a long walk along the canal. Very friendly staff and wholesome atmosphere. They do delicious pies!

The Navigation Inn was once owned by Coronation Street’s Elsie Tanner, aka, Pat Phoenix, and is now in the hands of friendly owners, Jan and Roger. 

The venue also offers a bed and breakfast, or ‘Barn ‘N’ Barge’, service with five comfortable en-suite rooms at a great value. All rooms include free-Wi-Fi and Freeview televisions, making it perfect for an overnight stay or a long weekend.

For fans of a fantastic Sunday carvery, look no further. The Inn’s ‘old restaurant’ serves a veritable feast every Sunday featuring a selection of delicious roasts accompanied by the classic trimmings at a price that won’t break the bank. They also offer a menu of traditional, rustic meals throughout the week to keep even the most discerning guests well fed.

If you are just visiting the High Peak, you’ll find The Navigation Inn to be a great base from where to start exploring and with its homely, traditional ambience and comfy beds you’ll be glad to come back to the Inn after a long day of sightseeing.
