A new place to go for us, we loved everything about it. Teapot topped up with hot water. Food delicious, we had cakes, scones, cheese on toast, and eggs brunches, teas coffees as a small family gathering. Thank you!

Murdochs Loughborough is the place to go if you’re after a relaxed, homely spot to catch up over lovingly-prepared food and drinks no matter the time of day.
Serving something for everyone, highlights of the Murdochs menu include an impressive afternoon tea service (ever indulged in a chocolate cream tea?) while moreish Tapas sharing plates bring flavours of India, Asia, America and the Mediterranean to an otherwise British menu.
There's a host of showstopping sweet treats, too, including Toblerone Mousse, Unicorn Mega Milkshake and Cadbury Caramel Muffin.
This laid back cafe-restaurant provides attentive table service and has a stylish farmhouse charm thanks to warm lighting and rustic wooden finishes. In case you ever find yourself planning a special occasion, bear in mind Murdochs is available for private hire throughout the year.
Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or drinks, this inviting and reasonably-priced eatery will meet your needs and then some. You can find it easily in between Loughborough’s Market Place and The Rushes.
