We say…
The Maharaja’s Retreat Nottingham is the perfect choice for anyone seeking an opulent Indian fine dining experience like no other.
Their aim is to offer a feast reminiscent of those hosted for empire rulers, the “Maharaja”. Situated between the Castle and Playhouse, the restaurant is decorated in rich hues of green, red, and gold truly making you feel like royalty.
Maharaja’s Retreat menu presents a wealth of fragrant flavours to choose from in their curry, rice, and bread dishes. Highlights of their regal selection include Sabzi Pakora, succulent Saagwala, or the Madrasi Salan for a spicier hit. Also on offer is swordfish and prawns, as well as expansive vegetarian/vegan options featuring mushrooms, lentils, okra and paneer.
You can expect the same distinguished service as its sister restaurant, Calcutta Club. Maharaja’s Retreat reviews always eagerly commend the helpful welcoming staff, and along with their elegantly gold-embossed decor, it’s a high end dining experience not to be missed.
