Had a wonderful evening, food, service ambience all fantastic, could not find any fault. Would definitely recommend.

The atmosphere was superb and the food was excellent. You could not believe that you were in Northampton. For all intents and purposes you were somewhere in Spain. The Sangria was particularly good. The only issue we had was in getting the bill... that did seem to take forever. However it was a storming night out

I've read a couple of reviews before deciding to go along to Les Olives, a few people had quoted how it was "a hidden jem in Northampton." Well its safe to say that it truly is.

The choice on the menu was fantastic, especially with the vegetarian options being plentiful. The atomsphere was lovely as Spanish music is played softly in the background and the service was very efficient also.

The food, o the food. Simply stunning, there was a great mixture and I highly recommend the roasted courgettes and butternut squash with feta cheese!

I only wish to have seen Sangria on the drinks list as that would have been a perfect rating.

I will definintely be coming along again and I've already suggested to a number of people to go along aswell.

Thrid time back and took a friend. Again food great, waitress lovely, value for money good. We'll be back again and my friend will be going back too.

Our third trip to Les Olives, definitely my favourite restaurant in Northampton. The decor and music really set the scene for a fabulous evening away from home. The service is always great, the food fabulous, and the bill is always a pleasant surprise.

Tapas was a nice change from the norm and would definately go again, just didnt sell barcardi which was odd.

Good restaurant, not quite authentic enough as does not give off a Spanish vibe, the food was good but the portions lacked a little and a little expensive. But otherwise great!

    Brilliant

We had a wonderful work Christmas meal at Les Olives. The food was spectacular, the service was excellent and amazing value for money. We will be going back!

Food is excellent, love the meatballs and the duck. The chocolate mousse is also to die for. The restaurant is hidden away, but inside feels like you've been transported to Spain. The service is also fantastic, very friendly. We will be back (soon hopefully)

My wife and i went there for my birthday last weekend and were simply amazed by the friendly ambience there. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. Having not had Tapas before we probably asked far too many questions but the waitress never stoppped smiling ot helping. The food was worth every penny. It was simply amazing. We mentioned this to the manager and he too was such a nice guy. I would recommend this place to anyone, and i should know as i have to dine out 2 or 3 times a week with work and this place is up their with the best London venues!!! Many thanks

We love this restaurant, its a hidden gem and would recommend it to anyone who likes superb, authentic tapas in a relaxed environment. Good wine list and service. Great value for money.

The food was good, but there seemed to be limited availability of certain dishes for a not too late 8pm booking.

From the moment you enter Les Olives it really doesn't feel like you're in Northampton at all. I found the staff to be friendly and attentive but not annoying. The menu is superb, using lots of fresh herbs and spices. We ordered 9 dishes between 3 of us and 2 bread baskets which was probably a little excessive but there was so much we wanted to try! The calamari was perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. The tortilla was the best I've ever had and the beetroot dish and the sweet potatoes with feta were to die for. We also tried the duck which again, was perfect.

I had a couple of glasses of house red and it was very palatable.

The restaurant was busy yet we were able to hold a conversation without being drowned out or feeling like we were sitting with other people.

We were the last party to leave yet not once did we feel like we were being pushed out of the door, in fact we drank a complimentary spanish digestif with the staff before heading off home.

    It was an extremely pleas

Best uk Tapas so far, rivals much of Spain. Friendly staff. Basic furnishings. I will return soon.

Had a really great night. Food was good although may have come out a bit quicker but we were advised when there would be a delay. Service was great. Had a very good evening and will definently be going back and recommending to friends.

Once again another delicious meal at Les Olives, their garlic mayo is up there with the best

The food was fantastic, delicious, such an amazing choice I will have to go back. The service was great for a group, very accommodating and always with a smile. I definitely recommend this (oh and the sangria was very reasonably priced and very good).

Great food! Excellent service! Excellent venue!

We say…

Situated in the centre of Northampton is Les Olives, a restaurant with a growing reputation for serving the best authentic tapas in Northampton. Just off the main market square in Northampton and up a small flight of stairs to the 1st floor, you will be welcomed by warm Spanish music into the world of Les Olives. The beautiful decor, with open high timbered ceilings and exposed brick work of this old and historic building gives an airy and relaxed atmosphere to the restaurant.

Alex, the restaurant owner, has worked in many a fine restaurant in London and has served his dishes to celebrities including Girls Aloud and Atomic Kitten. When he took charge of the restaurant in 2008 he concentrated on creating a charming restaurant area with a friendly and welcoming environment that serves fresh and flavoursome Spanish cuisine that encapsulates the true flavours of Spain.

Look out for the specials board highlighting some of the fantastic cuisine on offer each day, with such dishes as pan-fried langoustine with garlic and basil. The menu features a great selection of over 40 tapas dishes to choose from, including 11 vegetarian options. Popular dishes such as Cordero a la Plancha: grilled lamb marinated with rosemary, cumin, virgin oil and served with chillies, cardamom seeds and garlic and Morcilla Les Olives: savoury Spanish sausage with chargrilled red peppers, broads beans and red onions - just a few of the delicious dishes on offer. With a fantastic wine list including beautiful Riojas and of course sangria, diners really are spoilt for choice.

Les Olives in Northampton is a fantastic restaurant that once found you will return to time and time again.
