Inox Dine is a contemporary British restaurant located right in the heart of Sheffield’s city centre. The spot has great transport links and is just a minute away from the bars on West Street, so it’s ideal if you want to go somewhere to eat a great meal before hitting the town.
Inox Dine is located within the University of Sheffield Student’s Union building, but you won’t find any student-y cooking here. The space is immaculately presented with a fuchsia, white and light wood colour palette, with comfy sophisticated chairs and beautiful table settings. This bright and inviting restaurant is ideal for heading to if you want a laid-back environment but with food that wows. The large space is great for big groups, but is spacious enough to feel secluded if you want a quiet meal for two.
The food is similar in its beautiful presentation, and of course beautiful taste. Choose from a variety of menus – afternoon tea, a la carte, cocktails, breakfasts – to suit the occasion. There’ll be something for everyone’s tastes at this chic restaurant, and the staff are always happy to accommodate any allergies or dietary requirements to suit you. Go for an afternoon tea of famous Yorkshire specials like sweet Parkin and the heaty warm black treacle rye loaf, served with potted beef, smoked mackerel and horseradish and a pot of beef dripping. An example of Inox Dine’s fantastic main courses is the crispy shredded duck with coconut and noodles, or you can go for the barbequed Yorkshire Hangar steak, served pink with a side of Dauphinoise potatoes, roasted parsnips and béarnaise sauce. You’ll want to save room for dessert, though, where delicious offerings such as the caramel rice pudding with star anise poached plums and vanilla brioche bring back the loyal regulars time and time again.
A fantastic venue serving excellent food made using locally sourced ingredients, Inox Dine is one of Sheffield’s best venues for whatever occasion you have in mind.
