Located on Nottingham Road, just a few minutes’ walk from Mansfield town centre and the Mansfield Town football ground is Il Rosso. Serving a combination of Italian fine dining and modern European cuisine, this restaurant is ideal for every occasion.
The exterior of the venue is quaint yet stylish with an abundance of potted plants, white parasols and wooden tables. Inside the classic styling continues with polished wooden floors, comfortable wicker chairs and trendy art adorning the walls. The sumptuous surroundings create a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere that suits it to both business and pleasure.
On the menu you will find an eclectic combination of dishes that compliment and contrast against each other as you find a classic Italian wild mushroom risotto, rubbing shoulders with a home-grown toad in the hole or Sunday roast. Signature dishes include the Pork Rib Eye with caramel apple, crushed roasted veg and potatoes that are made all the more tasty by being moistened with the pan juices and pan fried calves liver on pepperonata with grilled polenta. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well as a range of delicious pizzas and pastas. The desserts also come highly recommended.
