We say…

Set in the antique Hopper House, Iberica Leeds is committed to showcasing the true flavours of Spain, serving up gastronomic tapas dishes infused with passion and authenticity. Close to the town hall and in an area saturated with some of Leeds' best restaurants, Iberica is a great place for locals and visitors to the city alike. Perfect for a lunch with colleagues or a romantic meal for two, Iberica is the place to be in Leeds if you're after flavoursome food in an incredible setting.

Set over two floors, the interior of Iberica is one to be marvelled at. Evoking the atmosphere of Spain yet remaining sensitive to the classic nature of the grade II listed building's status, the Hopper House's restaurant has been transformed into a gorgeous setting of dark woods and rich blues, complete with large mirrors, grand lighting and plush seating; remaining light and airy thanks to an incredible overhead light well. La Bodega bar and deli in the basement is the perfect place for a pre or post meal drink, or a snack if you're after something light.

The menu itself has been created by executive head chef Nacho Manzano: with three Michelin stars to his name, the ever-evolving menu always delivers on fresh produce, incredible flavours and immaculate presentation. There are plenty of starters to begin with, but the chain's famous Jamón Iberico arguably takes centre stage: using only pure-bred free-range Iberico pig, these incredible platters are deigned to be shared. You can then opt for the authentic tapas option, featuring delicious dishes such as the fried fresh squid with alioli sauce, the beef cheek carpaccio with truffle potato puree and the classic spicy patatas bravas. If you'd rather opt for one main dish, the gloria cachopo, fried beef and Iberico pork patty filled with Asturian cheeses and mushrooms is a surefire favourite. For vegetarians, the Asturian beans served with parsley juice, sautéed potatoes and fried artichokes is a delicious option. Make sure you leave room for dessert: the traditional churros with melted chocolate sauce is the only way to round off an authentic Spanish meal.

With fantastic food, a beautiful setting and an ambience infused with culture, Iberica Leeds is the only place to be if you're after an evening in one of Leeds' best new restaurants.
