The Ravioli Al Forno was delicious but surprisingly for a pasta dish did not fill us up and my friend and I are not the largest of people! So we had dessert. The tiramisu was nice but very filling and my friend had the chocolate torte but it was a thin slice of cake rather than what we understood a torte to be. Nevertheless, the service was great, the atmosphere welcoming and we had a lovely meal.

Paula Pettit –
As usual service was appalling. We go because of good food. We had to ask for menu after waiting 20 mins. Then had to ask for drinks after another 10 mins then asked to order it was terrible and unprofessional!
Good food or not, may not go again as service always slow but was worst ever this time! -

I visited this restaurant with a friend, we had a great night, the food was delicious, my friend is vegetarian and said her food was very good. The only reason I am giving 4 * for service is that we were asked 3 x in a few minutes whether we wanted pudding and we had asked a rest between courses other than that it was great.

Sarah Biddiss –
Had a table booked for my daughters birthday 23rd February. Was welcomed on arrival. The restaurant was busy and had a lovely atmosphere. The food was very well presented and was very tasty. The staff were very attentive and looked after us very well. Only one gripe, was the chunky chips. £3.95 for 7 chips. Very nice but not worth the money. Apart from that had a lovely evening. Will defo be back.

We look forward to our next visit. -
Jonathan Freeman –
Beautiful food, just lacked a little on the presentation side of things, as everyone eats with their eyes.
Value was some what desired for all the “little extra” that you don’t get included. Fresh warm bread on arrival or cheeky sweet with your coffee, mini slice of something you can have to indulge.
Great ambiance and vibe about the place and Biaz was always on point to know.
I would employ the waitress at my venue for sure. She knew what she was doing for sure and guided the other girl along the way.
Overall. I would go again. But not my favourite Italian in the area -
Bob Letty –
A lovely simple meal packed with flavour and balance.
We were asked if we had tried the sauces before and if not did we want to try them first to make sure we would be happy with the dish. -

It was my son's birthday so my husband and I were giving him a treat. We had dined at Gian Biaz before and had found it excellent. This time, we were certainly not disappointed - everything was wonderful, again. The food is out of this world. My son said that the fillet steak he had was the best he had ever tasted. We will definitely dine there again.

-
Mrs A Regan –
Fantastic food could not fault it. Only one thing service was good but communication between themselves seemed to get confusing at time. Would definitely recommend!

As ever good food with a service team that look after you.
-
Janet Davis –
My husband and I went to the restaurant for the first time on Saturday for our anniversary, but if you are expecting a quiet atmosphere with ambiance then this is not the place. Tables packed in so close together the waiting staff had trouble serving the customers, and the noise level was so loud we almost had to shout to each other to be heard. We will not be returning.
-
Sheila Adam –
Beautiful meal. Best Italian in town!
-
Daksha Haria –
The meal was excellent and so was the service at GianBiaz. Everyone enjoyed their food. The only thing was that we ended up paying nearly £40 as 10% service charge which they have written on the menu but in very small print at the end of the page and we had not factored that in.
-
Jenny Lydon –
Have been dining at GianBiaz for a while now. It's mine and my partners absolute favourite place for Italian! It's always pretty busy but that's because the food is really good! There's something about it that makes it feel very homely. I rate it nice out of ten.

We say…
GianBiaz is a family-owned restaurant that is situated on Wellingborough Road: the heart of Northampton town centre. The restaurant is easily reachable by car or public transport and benefits from ample parking which is free after 6pm.
As an Italian restaurant, GianBiaz strives to bring diners an authentic dining experience that reflects the surroundings of Italy itself. Owned by brothers Gian and Biaz, the restaurant instils a homely ambience but still offers privacy for all its diners. The décor emphasises style and comfort, boasting modern fixtures, a warm palette and reproductions of famous Italian artwork. Stealing the show is the open-view kitchen, which allows guests to see their food being authentically prepared.
Mastering the kitchen is head chef Gian, whose expertise in Italian cooking has been satisfying diners for many years. Gian knows how to combine traditional recipes with contemporary cooking methods to create a menu that is as flavoursome as it is diverse. Complete with a generous choice of pastas, a juicy collection of meaty mains, and a decadent dessert tray, GianBiaz has something for every taste bud. Some of the highly recommended dishes include chicken ‘Pollo Parmigiano’ coated in mozzarella, Parma ham and napolitana sauce with a wedge of polenta cake; 10oz rump steak cooked to your liking and served with slow roasted tomato and hand cut ‘fat’ chips; and smoked salmon pasta, or ‘Pappardelle Salmone’, marinated in spinach and finished with a hearty dollop of mascarpone and paprika.
Head waiter Biaz leads the front of house, bringing with him superb knowledge on fine Italian dining. With a reputation for outstanding service and a talent for selecting the perfect wine to accompany your meal, he will make you feel well looked after from start to finish.
GianBiaz is a delightful venue for superb food, excellent wine and service. For a good range of Italian meals, look no further than GianBiaz restaurant in Northampton.
