Great food at a great price.

Nice ‘down to earth’ venue, obviously it’s about the quality of the food rather than ambiance. Service was excellent and drinks and food came quickly. Burger basket was superb. If I was being picky the chips were a little greasy. A few more seconds draining would have helped but over all an excellent meal with a very tasty burger. Felt comfortably full at the end without a dessert. A great experience, and one well worth repeating.

Nice meal, huge portions in a nice relaxed environment!

We had the great value £7 basket meal which they do tues and thurs. The meal was delicious and service very good. We will definitely return for basket meal

A very friendly small restaurant, tables are a little close together but it was still an enjoyable meal. Spicy Samson starter was lovely and steaks were delicious!

    Perfect, as usual :)

Excellent food and service as usual.

The food was great, steak is absolutely gorgeous. The only thing that lets the place down is the layout of the room. The bench type seating on the back makes you feel to close to other customers taking away the privacy when trying to enjoy an intimate meal. But the food is still amazing.

A wonderful surf and turf restaurant, well executed and presented food.

We say…

Situated on Monk Street, just outside of Derby city centre, is Emily’s Steakhouse; an award-winning restaurant offering an exquisite collection of juicy steaks and freshly-prepared seafood. Earning a top-star review from Metro Life, Emily’s offers a relaxed dining experience that focuses on customer care and lovingly-prepared meals.

The namesake of the restaurant is owner Emily Chen, who works hard to keep the restaurant at an incredible standard. The simple and homely atmosphere creates the ideal setting for a relaxed dinner away from the hustle and bustle of Derby city life. Exposed brickwork, pine-panelled walls and old maps of Derbyshire further add to the charm of the restaurant, while the open air car park sits just outside. The Steakhouse also boasts a five-star hygiene rating and the staff are always friendly and helpful to customers.

As a surf and turf restaurant there are a variety of choices when it comes to dining. You can expect to find an array of first-class chargrilled British steaks including the sumptuous sirloin, the almighty rump, and  Emily’s personal favourite, rib-eye on the bone. As you would expect, all steaks are served with a helping of homemade chips and a side of tasty garnish. The restaurant also offers an inspired selection of seafood dishes, a delightful children’s menu, and a superb vegetarian menu that is packed with flavour.

The restaurant prides itself on its ability to cater for a wide range of tastes and is suitable for business meetings and party bookings. With a mouth-watering menu at sensible prices, there is no reason not to try Emily’s Steakhouse Derby for yourself. Book a table now to avoid missing out on this fantastic restaurant.
