We say…

Situated in the spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, you will find the Lee Wood Hotel, a stunning, independently-owned and managed, Georgian house that acts as a home to the equally as beautiful Elements Restaurant. Awarded an AA Rosette every year for the last decade, Elements is not only a feast for the taste buds but also for the eyes.

You will find Elements tucked away at the back of the hotel in a beautifully decorated conservatory that allows the natural beauty of the Peak District to envelop every corner. Floor to ceiling windows ensure that the restaurant is flooded with light throughout the day whilst evening diners can enjoy uninterrupted views of the night sky. A large terrace provides the ideal space for al fresco summer dining and watching the sun set with a glass of wine on milder nights.

Diners are encouraged to relax in the comfortable bar area with a pre-meal drink before meandering through to the dining room. The menu offers a good selection of classic British dishes, all of which are individually prepared to order. You can expect to enjoy dishes such as the roast salmon served with lemon and spring onion crushed potato, stem broccoli, dill butter and pickled cucumber or; the rump of lamb served with asparagus, butternut squash and porcini pearl barley and rosemary jus or; the vegetable and stilton pie served with smoked garlic mash and vegetable gravy. As well as the fantastic a la carte menu, a traditional roast is also available on a Sunday that many people come from far and wide to devour.

Elements restaurant at the Lee Wood Hotel, Buxton, is a spectacular venue that is perfect for everything from large corporate bookings to intimate meals for two. It would also make the ideal venue for a wedding reception or for a special family celebration.
