We say…

Doddington Hall can be found just 5 miles out of Lincoln city centre. Head West of Lincoln on the B1190 and you'll reach your destination in around 15 minutes. Construction began in 1595 by Robert Smythson, one of England's most famous Elizabethan architects. This late Elizabethan Manor is very much still used as a family home. However, the estate is open to the public and hosts a restaurant, cafe, shops and the gardens.

In the restaurant, expect modern, yet rustic decor. The tables are laid with fresh flowers helping you to truly appreciate the beauty of the extraordinary building. The dark wood tables and statement seating adds to the elegant setting of the spectacular restaurant inside the Elizabethan Manor. Lovely secluded booths, intimate tables for two along with large round table for groups are on offer. This country escape offers a stylish restaurant and a special dining experience.

At Doddington Hall, everything is cooked from scratch and made to order. Priding themselves on using only local and seasonal produce, Doddington Hall source must of their ingredients directly from the estate. The Kitchen Garden provides the chefs with fresh fruit, vegetables and salad while the beef is from Doddington Halls herd of Red Lincoln Cattle and Game from the estate. The passionate chefs are devoted to creating fuss-free flavoursome dishes that you are guaranteed to enjoy. On the lunch menu and a la carte menu, expect dishes such as Doddington herd steak, Doddington Ale battered haddock or cod and Doddington pigeon burger in the main courses. With a great range of starters, main courses and desserts on offer, there will be a dish to suit every pallet.

After your meal, take a walk around the beautiful gardens and make a day of it. Doddington Hall is a fantastic place to head for an extra special meal or leisurely lunch. With much to do and see on the estate, enjoy the history and architecture whilst at Doddington Hall.
