Shared the deluxe meal for two plenty of it and very tasty. Service was very good although the place was busy the servers were very attentive to us. Will definitely visit again.

Very good service, good atmosphere, food a little pricey.

Amazing place, great atmosphere and such wonderful food. Staff were brilliant, will definitely be back ...even though we live in Nottingham.

Great food, drinks and service as usual. Can not recommend this place enough...superb!

Excellent as always. Very tasty tapas, desserts were amazing and the up close magic was a nice touch for Mother’s Day!

Really tasty food with very attentive staff. Would definitely recommend

    Great as always.

Quantity rather than quality of food. Disappointing experience and probably wouldn't return.

The food was delicious. Lovely variety of dishes. A proper little banquet!

Great food with efficient and friendly service. Very good value for money, especially with the £5 happy hour discount.

Great atmosphere... Fantastic service, the staff were ever so friendly and helpful... Enjoyed the food but unfortunately can't remember the dishes I liked the most (sorry). Would definitely recommend and go back for more.....And a big thanks to you guys at Go dine.... Merry Christmas...

Superb as always, great food with great service. Well worth a try.

    Excellent as always!

Although busy, (Saturday evening), we were seated quickly and the food ordered arrived quickly and was exquisite, very reasonably priced with professional and helpful staff, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone, so much so, I can see it becoming our favourite haunt for dining out!

    Good as always at Cubana!

Food was fab, will definitely return. Great cocktails too at Cubana

    Lovely food and great service!

Fantastic meal at cubana to celebrate our anniversary, great food, great service and great sangria :)

Great tapas variety at Cubana, great cocktails!

    Never disappointed at Cubana :D

The food was excellent, especially the swordfish. A large choice of dishes and swift polite service. The January offer of 40% off made it great value, Otherwise it would have been a bit pricey.

Great service, prices and food. Will definitely be back. Cocktails were on the expensive side but a lovely treat to go with the meal!

Lovely restaurant, great atmosphere, food was brilliant!

Excellent meal, full of flavour, well worth a visit.

The meal was ok, but I have had better. Service was ok. The place itself seemed small and extremely noisy!

Superb choice of food. We didn't realise an early bird deal was on so even better value for money. Staff very attentive and friendly. Will make a special journey to Sheffield to eat there again

Extremely good food and excellent value for money. Great service too. Will definitely book again.

First time at Cubana. Loved the menu choices and caught the happy hour as a bonus!

I thought all in all the night was amazing, the food was really nice and I couldn't get enough! Even though there was more than enough. Service was amazing. Definitely would go to Cubana again!

We had the set menu which is £19.50 per person, meaning plenty of food for two and they have a vegetarian option if you don't want meat. Plenty of choice. The only downside was that drinks are expensive, £12 for two Cuba libre and £10 for 2 red wine. Total cost of meal £61

Excellent lunch. Portions much bigger than expected so for £7.95 was more than happy. A group of 10 went so we tucked in a wide range and every dish was good quality. Service a tad slow despite it being nearly empty, but other than that, a great show.

Excellent food. Plenty of it. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, all very friendly. Great place. Will definitely be returning to Cubana and thank you for such an enjoyable evening.

Our night was fantastic at Cubana, we were thoroughly looked after by the staff whilst the food was gorgeous and excellent value!

Hard to miss and I'm glad we didn't - both the service and the food at Cubana Tapas is wonderful. Probably my favourite restaurant in Sheffield.

Really fun and rustic atmosphere, the waiters and bar staff were friendly and helpful. The variety of tapas plates on the set menu is really broad, but could do with more bread on the starters as most dishes come with a lot of sauce. Overall worth going again.

Always very happy coming here, I love being able to try lots of different dishes and pick and mix how I please!!! Is often an evening treat with me and my girls!

We say…

Located in the heart of Sheffield city centre, you will find Cubana Tapas: a bright yellow building nestled in amongst the dull brick. This little slice of sunshine is an unstoppable force that has placed itself firmly onto the Sheffield food map.

Encouraging a relaxed and informal dining style, Cubana is all about chilling out with great food and company. With live music every night, diners are always greeted with a lively atmosphere. The restaurant itself is intimate and cosy, with rustic wooden tables, wall murals, candles and fairy lights: all of which combine to create a vibrant yet blissful retreat from the city centre streets.

Chilean head chef Fabian Cruz has been in charge of the kitchen at Cubana since the restaurant opened its doors in 2000; with the wealth of experience Fabian brought with him, the restaurant has enjoyed a fabulous reputation for consistently tasty food ever since.

The menu is vibrant, exciting and ever-expanding. Initially offering diners a selection of Spanish tapas, the restaurant has further diversified and enhanced their menu by adding dishes that have a Latin-American flair. Taking away the uncertainty that can occur when choosing a single main course, Cubana encourages sharing when hanging out with loved ones, and is highly popular with couples and larger groups who order several plates and sample a little of each. The staff are on hand to advise you of how many dishes to order depending on your party size and hunger levels.

The hot tapas section of the menu includes dishes such as cordero, a traditional Chilean dish of shoulder of braised lamb cooked in vegetable stock, fresh thyme and red wine; and jamon y queso de cebra, an oven-baked basket of Serrano ham topped with goats cheese and served with mixed vegetables. The style of cuisine also lends itself very well to vegetarians, as well as seafood lovers, with dishes such as the risotto con setas made with wild mushrooms, porcini mushrooms, white onion and a touch of white wine; or, the popular ensalada de feta, a greek style salad made with feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, fresh chillis and olive oil.

They also have a choice of  fantastic set menus for large parties. Each works out at excellent value for money and consists of a variety of Cubana's most popular tapas dishes.

Cubana Tapas in Sheffield city centre offers a relaxing ambience during the week and a lively atmosphere at weekends, helped by the great music and energetic presence of Sheffield's Latin community. Give them a call to find out more about their live music nights, DJs and salsa classes. We guarantee you won't regret it.
