Rich Wilson –
The waiting team were both super friendly and efficient and the food was very tasty. However it was Tuesday afternoon and we were the only table dining - all three of us had to send our mash back as it was cold and when I went to the toilet two of the chefs were arguing.
My summary: nice food but overpriced. -

The first time I was in Chilli Village it was like a time trip.
I loved the place.
The service was excellent. My brother who was visiting us enjoyed every single beer.
The starters were amazing, the main courses were delicious and the desserts OMG, fantastic.
So, last Friday was my husband's birthday and we would have dinner with my parents in law.
It was a huge concern as my father in law is too fussy. So, I sent them the name for them googled the menu. When they accepted I was happy.
We went there and I was delighted because they loved everything.
The place, service, price and meals, all fantastic.
I will go there whenever I can. -

Enjoy this restaurant but unfortunately, there were quite a few meals on the menus that were unavailable on the starters, mains and also desserts due to apparently catering for a wedding! I was not impressed as bad management considering we were a group of eight people!

This is my 2nd visit. The first time I ate here was amazing, great atmosphere, good food, those giant prawns were fabulous, the service was spot on. I was a little let down by this visit, they’d run out of prawns for prawn cocktail and also there were no more giant prawns! It was 8pm on Saturday! You shouldn’t be running out of food then!

Lovely decor and a nice welcome. Only downfall was the menu didn't have much choice. Most vegetables were the same on each dish ordered. Great friendly service.

Unfortunately the live entertainment that was on at the restaurant ruined the evening. A very loud Spanish singer who danced in a flamenco style was very loud and made it impossible to hold a conversation. We asked to move tables further away and other customers commented how loud it was. The food was OK. The service was a bit hit and miss. We had to wait ages to order our first drink and food and had to attract the waitresses attention in order to order more drinks. Sadly I won’t be booking again.

Don't be put off by the exterior of the building - the inside is a lovely restaurant - we had steaks and they were beautifully cooked and tasted delicious. Portions great and service was just right - not too fussy but at tentative. Wine list is a bit limited but the Malbec was good - dessert menu was small but the food was well cooked and tasted delicious - we will definitely be back

We took a party of eight for a birthday meal. The first impression was good. Quirky decor, a buzzing atmosphere and friendly staff. Our table was in a nice private area. The chairs look great but be warned they are the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in! We ordered our food. There is no kids menu but they offered cheese or tomato pasta or chicken nuggets. Our food took ages to come. The kid's cheese pasta was literally boiled penne with grated cheese on top. No sauce or anything. Just awful so we asked the server if we could change it to nuggets as the child was upset that she didn't like the pasta. They said it was fine but the meal never came so 1 child didn't get a meal! There was plenty of apologies at the end from the staff but nothing was knocked off the bill. Not the greatest experience for us. We won't be recommending or visiting again!

Did not like the jaz trio playing but then again I don’t like jaz It was too loud
Will go back but ask to be further back in the restaurant -

We were really disappointed with our experience as the restaurant was empty save for our table. Shortly before we arrived we were called to see whether we were still attending, we confirmed we were on route. When we arrived we realised we were the only table in the restaurant and clearly, given the experience that had followed, the staff were eager to close and didn’t really want our business. In fairness it was snowing but if they didn’t want our business just say they are closing rather than offer less thank adequate service.
There were 3 members of staff present to look after our one table and it was completely obvious that they wished we had cancelled because they just wanted to close. Whilst our waiter was very friendly, we felt he didn’t really listen to what we ordered and there were many problems with our food: one of the starters wasn’t delivered, the steaks were over cooked, they forgot the sauce, they served the wrong type of coffee (asked for Americano and got a Cappuccino which I don’t like), they forgot the milk for the tea and then they brought ketchup when we asked for BBQ sauce. The food was mediocre which was hugely disappointing as we have been to this restaurant before and the standard on Monday evening didn’t compare to past experience. We were only a small table of five yet we had this many problems with our meal. Not sure we will return to be honest. -

After a good look at the menu we decided on one mushroom soup and one steak tartar starter both excellent and polished off.
After we both had a steak served with four flavour fries and fresh veg, again food was superb and we will be going again soon to try another from the menu -

Quite cold. Ladies had to put their jackets back on.
Tapas dishes rather small for the money. Main meals looked better value, although one of the diners had an upset stomach the day after eating (could be unrelated). Service was charming and helpful, and a couple of complimentary 'extras' came our way which were a nice surprise! Music (Rachael Johnson Quartet) was brilliant! Decor is East European in style and nicely quirky in a good way. With just a bit more attention to detail this place could be great! -

A lovely evening. Soup starter to share was absolutely gorgeous and a huge portion which easily filled the 3 of us! Mains experience was varied, I enjoyed my salad, however my sons Paella lacked flavour in the rice but the seafood was very generous! Desert for myself was a very generous portion again and could easily have been shared. It was lovely having live music while eating our meal but this was very loud and difficult to hear each other talk. All said though it was an enjoyable evening overall. I must say the Maitre 'D was charming and attentive.

The food was outstanding with lots of added surprises such as caviar and truffle. The decor is unique like nowhere I've ever been. The service was professional and efficient and the whole experience is one I have spent time today sharing with my work colleagues who also live in or around Northampton. Highly recommend this place.
