Lovely food and service, children's menu was great with so many options. Highly recommend going but maybe on a less busy occasion.

We went for fathers day and the restaurant felt overcrowded. Tables felt too close together.

    Excellent

The food at Byron's was very tasty but the grand building and décor inside was disappointing, looking very tired and long overdue refurbishment and redecoration.

    Best food in Nottingham!

    What a lovely Gem...
Super venue & lovely food. We were really impressed with the presentation & quality of food. We like to dine in higher end restaurant's & this one is such good value for money & tasty food.
    We'll definitely go again!

Fantastic food in a beautiful location. Excellent value for money at Georgetown Restaurant.

The restaurant was stunning and food delicious. Attentive staff and good time between courses. Wonderful flavour with many colours which looked beautiful. Will be going back with friends for lunch.

Stunning venue with a varied menu. Went in a large party and every dish was absolutely delicious. No complaints. Will be visiting again soon.

We say…

Formerly the ancestral home of the infamous bard Lord Byron, Colwick Hall Hotel is s luxurious country house nestled within over 60 acres of charming woodland and rolling countryside, featuring spectacular lake views. Located just a ten minute drive from Nottingham city centre, Byron’s Brasserie offers affordable dining in beautiful surroundings.

Colwick Hall has a fascinating history dating back beyond the 1700’s: many of the original features, such as the diamond cut slate flooring with circular black marble sections, still remain. Colwick Hall is home to some spectacularly luxurious  bedrooms as well as a breath-taking Grand Ballroom with a hand-painted ceiling, several conference rooms, the Lakeside Pavilion, Champagne Lounge and the brand new restaurant, Byron’s Brasserie.

Formerly the Georgetown restaurant, Byron’s Brasserie is tailor-made to suit all occasions: from an intimate dinner date for two all the way to Sunday lunch with the family or an indulgent afternoon tea with friends. The spacious dining room boasts vintage decor inspired by the iconic English poet Lord Byron. With modern seating, beautiful wall paintings, and a stylish dark wood bar, the Brasserie is both classical and comfortable, making for the ultimate relaxing dining experience.

Offering the best European cuisine as well as modern British dishes, Byron’s is a unique and beautiful restaurant. Serving lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and Sunday lunch, it’s perfect for a meal with wow-factor. You can expect to enjoy dishes such as the noisette of lamb served with basil, stuffed plum tomato with goat's cheese, mint roasted fondant potatoes, broad beans and a sweet lamb jus, as well as the delectable pave of venison served with creamy mash, caraway cabbage, white pear puree, baby pears and chocolate sauce. Don't miss out on dessert either: the sticky ginger cake with lemongrass caramel and pistachio ice cream is the tastiest way to round off your meal. The restaurant is also suitable for private hire for those special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries; you can rest assured that the polite, professional staff will ensure everything runs smoothly.

If you are looking for luxury, look no further than Byron’s Brasserie at Colwick Hall, Nottingham. Offering an eclectic mix of modern British and European cuisine in historic and breath-taking surroundings, the restaurant and setting itself are sure to impress.
