We say…

Situated on The Headrow between The Light, St John’s Centre and the Grand Theatre, Brown’s is in a prime location and easily accessible. The first Brown’s opened in 1973 with the simple but effective belief that classic food served in a stylish environment would be a sure recipe for success. Brown’s Leeds is no exception to that rule; a bright, large restaurant bistro and bar by day with a great night time atmosphere, it is the ideal venue for large groups and couples who are looking for a reasonably priced, quality meal with a fantastic array of chilled continental beers, an extensive wine list, champagne and classic cocktails.

There is a fabulous number of choices when it comes to dining at Brown’s with ‘an offer for any time of day’. Breakfast, Prix Fixe, lunch and early menus, as well as Varsity and Cathedral menus for group bookings, ensure the choice is varied, but the quality shines through in each dish. The Main menu is where you’ll find the most inspirational dishes including fabulous Pan seared Black Pearl Scallops with a lemon and pea risotto and Smoked Duck, crisp noodle and cashew nut salad. Among the main courses there is a good range of salads and fish but the classic Steak Frites is not to be missed; a sumptuous 6oz Prime Sirloin, served with a lemon, parsley and peppercorn butter, confit tomato, and watercress.

Booking is recommended to ensure a seat at this highly popular restaurant.
