Heading to the Theatre Royal Concert Hall to watch a show? Make a day of it and experience one of these fabulous pre-theatre dining deals!

We always recommend you book your table at least a week in advance. If there is a big show on, all the restaurants will be busy during the pre-theatre dining times.  Always allow 1.5 to 2 hours for you pre-theatre meal depending on how many courses you’re going to have.



Copper really is the prime location for a pre-theatre meal. The stylish restaurant is just across the road from the Theatre Royal.

Copper’s pre-theatre menu changes regularly to incorporate the best seasonal ingredients. You can expect delicious dishes like Heritage Tomato & Mozzarella Carpaccio to start, Pan Fried Seabass with sautéed new potatoes, chorizo, samphire and red onion on the mains and White Chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake to finish.

Enjoy a 2 Course Pre-Theatre Meal for £15 or a 3 Courses for £18. Dine from the set menu Monday to Saturday between 3pm – 6.30pm




Located on Queen Street, Bill’s is just moments away from the Theatre Royal. This brilliant British restaurant ticks all the boxes for a perfect meal.

Bill’s tasty pre-theatre menu features 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 desserts for you to choose from. Begin your meal with Ham Hock and Mustard Terrine. For the main event, Mojo Chicken Skewers are always a winner and you won’t be able to resist the Warm Cinnamon Doughnuts for dessert!

Dine from Bill’s pre-theatre menu and get 2 Courses for £10.95 and 3 Courses for £12.95 Monday to Friday, 12pm – 7pm.

Loch Fyne


A few minutes’ walk from the Theatre Royal Concert Hall, Loch Fyne can be found on King Street. If you love seafood, this is the only place to dine!

A firm favourite to start is the Loch Fyne Fish Soup with Saffron aioli, gruyere cheese, granary bread. Main courses include dishes such as Whole Roasted Mackerel, King Prawn Spaghetti and Confit Duck Leg. All main courses are served with a complimentary side dish of your choice. We recommend finishing with the Glazed Lemon Tart with Lemon Meringue Mess! If you or your dining companion don’t fancy fish, there are meat and vegetarian options on the pre-theatre menu.
