Today we would like to introduce you to our most recent addition; Carriages.

Carriages Pub and Italian restaurant in Newhaven is right in the heart of the picturesque Derbyshire Peak District. Situated centrally between Buxton, Matlock, Ashbourne and Bakewell, making it ideal for family get-togethers and reunions.

The restaurant is completely unique and offers a dining experience with real wow-factor. Housed within two vintage Orient Express and Pullman rail carriages, the dining rooms are stunning and, with their nostalgic décor, full of inimitable character. [See pictures of Carriages here]

The food on offer is classic, authentic Italian fare prepared with passion and skill. Carriages not only boast incredibly tasty food but have also recently received their five star food hygiene rating that further enforces the love and dedication that is poured into the venue by friendly owners Vincenzo and Karina Guarino. Carriages is an incredibly popular choice for weddings, birthdays and other special events as well as casual lunches and intimate dinners. They also host a highly successful ‘Ladies that Lunch’ club as well as being the restaurant of choice for those visiting Ascot.
