Lovely meal served by very efficient and friendly staff. Extremely good value and welcoming atmosphere. Pity more people were not there to enjoy this hidden gem.

Food and service excellent, will be going again.

Very quiet when we arrived but it soon filled up. Food quality and value excellent as was the friendly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend Ashmore's.

15 family members helped me to celebrate my 84th birthday. Everything at Ashmore’s was fantastic as it always is.

From booking the meal to our coffees the whole experience of Go Dine and Ashmores was a pleasure. The menu suited us as it was not a heavily spiced range of dishes - the quality of the food shine through. Hot food, hot dishes, no long waiting for food to arrive. We took a visiting friend out to dinner and he was really imoressed to have such a lovely restaurant on our doorstep. The staff were excellent.

We had a fabulous night at Ashmore's in Radcliffe-on-Trent last night. There were 14 of us and the restaurant had other tables at the same time but the service was impeccable, polite and friendly and the food was first rate. Two of the party were vegetarian and one gluten free, and they were treated with the utmost respect to their preferences. Highly recommended!

Excellent meal and good fun at "Quiz Night". Our team came second!

Friday fish night was all lovely, food was really tasty, we had a wonderful evening!

Very pleasant, had 2 course fixed £13.95 although many dishes had a supplement, Starters were very good

My partner had Lamb which was good I had Pork Fillet which was a little on the tough side water served at the table was warm.

Reasonable VFM and we would go again

Lovely family owned restaurant, excellent service and large size portions that are wonderfully presented and taste beautiful. Would happily go again to try their usual menu as this was the Mother's Day 4 course.

Fantastic meal at Ashmore's which really couldn't have been improved upon. Waitresses very attentive, polite and efficient. The food was well presented and arrived nice and hot. It really is an issue with me if the food doesn't arrive hot. I always think that if its hot, it suits those who want it that way and also those who might want it to cool a little. I was very happy. If you go and bread and butter pudding with ice cream and butterscotch sauce is on the menu...give it a try....it's to die for!

First time diner at this restaurant, very nice ambience given it was a daytime visit, friendly and efficient staff food excellent and arrived hot. Would definitely recommend Ashmores.

Had another excellent lunch at Ashmores, friendly staff as always. Have booked for a return visit!

Went to Ashmore's for Valentine's Day however, the journey there took us an hour longer than it should have due to an accident on the road earlier in the day. Called the restaurant to let them know and they were fine with moving our reservation back. Food was of a high quality and decent sized portions. Had a nice ambiance with suitable music playing. Toilet for the men was a single toilet. Overall a pleasant evening especially given the trek it took to get there.

The Ashmores restaurant was fantastic. Lovely layout, friendly staff and fab food with good size servings. Had a great night, very impressive.

Lovely food and friendly service. Most of our party were elderly and they were incredibly well looked after. Look forwards to visiting again.

had the set lunch menu, good food at a good price! will be returning soon.

We say…

Situated on Bingham Road in the very centre of Radcliffe on Trent and just a stone’s throw from the Radcliffe rail station is Ashmore’s. Independently owned by Mark and Max, the duo have strived to create a venue that offers exciting and experimental British and European dishes for very reasonable prices.

Ashmore’s is a prime example of why Nottinghamshire’s restaurants are so special. Whether you are looking to book a corporate function, a birthday party or simply a romantic meal for two, the team at Ashmore’s will cater their service to your needs. The dining room is sophisticated and elegant and adds a touch of class to any occasion with its neutral colour palette and well thought out layout. It Is cosy enough to offer intimacy whilst large enough to be suitable for larger parties and groups looking for a delicious meal and plenty of conversation and laughter.

The menu at Ashmore’s changes every four weeks to showcase the very finest and freshest local produce. This not only ensures that you are enjoying their menu choices at their prime, but also that there is something new to try every time you visit. When available, there are a number of dishes that come highly recommended including the salmon dumplings starter served with a tomato and basil sauce and the deliciously delightful Parma ham salad with peaches, pecans and stilton. For mains, grilled monkfish with a leek and mushroom sauce or the pork escalope stuffed with pistachio and apricots with a brandy sauce is both a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. Warm and friendly service accompanies every dish and, despite the fabulous surroundings and fine cuisine, the prices are incredibly reasonable.

With the winning combination of price, service and delicious food, it’s no wonder that Ashmore’s is a firm favourite with both locals and visitors. Perfect for family gatherings, lunch with friends or a romantic dinner for two, the food and surroundings will not fail to impress.
