Great authentic Turkish food from Antalya in lovely surroundings!

Lovely mixed meze at Antalya, superb mixed kebab with good quality meat and a very refreshing plate of fruit. Turkish delight and liqueur to finish! Good efficient service throughout. Will definitely go again.

I love Antalya. The food - Turkish/Mediterranean is amazing, the staff are lovely and very forgiving when your event at the Theatre Royal across the road overruns. The fillet of lamb dish is just outstanding.

Food as always was lovely at Antalya, we especially loved the mixed kebab, the chicken is so tender and moist. The service is excellent, the staff are attentive but not in your face. The courses are spaced extremely well leaving you time to chat and also not feeling rushed.

A fantastic atmosphere, the staff were very chatty and welcoming, a great find.

We say…

Traditional ambience and sensational Mediterranean dishes passed down from generation to generation, all at Nottingham's centrally located Antalya.

Well located, this popular Turkish restaurant, Antalya sits on Forman Street in the heart of Nottingham City centre and is both unique and exciting. Owner Muhammed Yaqub and the rest of his team at Antalya see Turkish cuisine as an art form and most of the recipes they serve have been passed down from generation to generation.

Visitors to Antalya can enjoy hot and cold Mezes to start, accompanied by freshly baked Turkish breads. Some of our favourites include the tabbouleh parsley salad, hummus, sauteed lamb liver, grilled halloumi and the mitite kofte-small cocktail meatballs. When it comes to the main event there a wide range of dishes to choose from options such as kebabs, steaks, vegetarian dishes, pasta dishes or even salads. Why not opt for a house special? Our favourite is the izmir kofte, a dish of lamb patties with tomatoes, peppers, potatoes and garlic served with rice; however, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Each meal is accompanied by traditional Turkish drinks, including Raki, and diners can enjoy the full sense of occasion created by dining at a traditional leisurely pace. Make sure you end your meal with a traditional dessert - the muhallebili kadayif icomes highly praised and is served with shredded pastry rolled in muhallebi, served with chocolate sauce and a sprinkle of pistachio.

For those wishing to dine in a large group or party there is an excellent Turkish Feast Menu available which mirrors the tradition of feasting for the Sultan for a very reasonable price!

Located a stone's throw from the theatre, concert hall and Cornerhouse cinema complex, Antalya makes a sublime choice for all occasions.
