From the staff to the food was exceptional. The food was delivered very quickly and hot. I will definitely book again.

It was a lovely set meal for Valentine’s Day.

First time at this restaurant the food was excellent the staff were friendly the service was very good the price is reasonable about the same has everywhere else I would recommend this restaurant.

The food was amazing. I ordered chicken korma with plain naan and my boyfriend ordered chicken madras with garlic naan and we shared mushroom pilau rice. If I had to say something negative it would be that the table was wobbly, however, we didn’t ask for another table. The owners were very nice and interacted with customers, which I thought was very nice and welcoming. It’s a great restaurant to go to if you don’t want to go to town. We would definitely go to the restaurant again.

Very good food, great service, easy parking and good value. We will be eating there again and found out they also do takeout. Thanks

The meal was exceptional as usual and ready in a quick time.

The food was great and delivered in quick time. very good staff, I will definitely book again

We have never had a poor meal here! Always reliably gorgeous food and great value.

Excellent all round - we love the vegetable thali but our son loves the meat curry.

Excellent food in lovely surroundings - transports you to imagine India

Lovely upmarket restaurant with simply gorgeous food. Try the thali - excellent value and delicious on the lunchtime menu.

Lovely thali at lunchtime - available in both veggie or meat - wonderful flavours and value.

Meal was fantastic - flavors really different. The service is excellent and the overall experience was superb.

The food was amazing as always the staff are so attentive nothing is too much trouble

We don't dine out often, so we're no critic by any stretch of the imagination, the star rating we gave is how we felt in reflection. Would definitely go back.

    Lovely as always.

Menu was varied, with a lot of lesser known dishes alongside more familiar ones. Food came pretty quickly and was very high quality. Service was friendly and attentive and prices were good considering the quality of the dishes. Would recommend.

Lovely restaurant friendly staff and atmosphere, wine and food very reasonable and big portions.

Wonderful meal and brilliant service. We love the lunchtime thali menu - wish they did this menu in the evenings. The wine is good at a reasonable price.

Food was outstanding and there wasn’t a long wait until it arrived. Friendly staff who was more than happy to cater to all our needs. Definately would recommend to anybody who loves a curry!

Delicious Indian food and excellent service at a reasonable price. Not my first visit here and definitely not my last!

Service is great and house wine was delicious and reasonably priced.

The staff here were lovely very attentive, the service was brilliant and the food was amazing worth every penny. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

    Everything was super.

Excellent food and service, and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend and will be returning soon!!

    Loved it

Can't fault the Viceroy, lovely food, friendly welcoming service and lovely surroundings!

Very helpful staff and a very personal welcome. Restaurant was quite empty when I arrived but it steadily filled up. I ordered the set menu for one person at £10.00 and it was very tasty and extremely good value. Just one point ... I found the food to be pretty spicy, even the peshwari (mild) curry. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted to find a great restaurant in Nottingham.

Fantastic food and service every time

Excellent food at The Viceroy and we were well looked after. We had the lunch time offer and didn't regret it at all. Would heartily recommend and great value for money!

Lunch time special -we love it! The wine is very reasonably priced, so had to have a cheeky red with the food!

As usual a lovely meal presented in a lovely way with special valentines touches such as rose petals and candles. We had the vegetarian option, which was elegantly presented with heart shaped vegetables. Only one problem - couldn't eat it all!

Our local restaurant is our go too venue when we cant decide where to go out, food is excellent and service is fast.

Have not tried all the dishes as I tend to stick to tandoori chicken and seafood.

The Viceroy is a really good Indian restaurant, never had a bad meal there and I think this was the best we've had to date, everybody had delicious meals and good value too.

Just one word "perfection". We loved the food so fresh and tasty and the wine is good value and quality. The setting is relaxing and pleasing. We will be returning again and again.

The food was amazing very tasty and fresh. Staff very friendly clean surroundings lovely place. I will defo be going back.

We had an excellent meal for 4 yesterday evening at the Viceroy. The service was extremely polished and the food, as ever was delicious!

Absolute bargain. 3 course for £10 a head and the beer isn't a rip off.

Driven past it for years and popped in on a friends reccomendation, really impressed. I'd go as far as to say this is one of the best bangs for your bucks in town.

Food was lovely, really good value and very yummy! Lovely restaurant, the only thing was the service seemed a bit rushed! But would definitely go again!

Brilliant as always at The Viceroy. Booking again for next week ;)

Absolutely Brilliant! Nice Chicken curry, Pilau rice and a pint of Cobra for less than a fiver. Nice restaurant and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend The Viceroy (Sherwood)!
