Great place to visit and dine, I have eaten here several times before and decided to take my mother out for lunch and she was really impressed with the interior as she thought it was quirky, we were impressed with the friendly staff and great food, she can't wait to visit again.

    Great food, great service!

My friend & I enjoyed the two for £12 pizza deal tonight, it was delish, the staff were smiley & friendly. A brilliant evening meal & catch up for us both, in a lovely place with good food, we will be returning.

Another wonderfully presented meal. All the staff was very friendly and approachable. A special time all round as The Crossing is the place I meet a very special friend who up until two years ago hadn't seen for almost 30 years. Special time, superb place. Thank you.

Food was great, good service great atmosphere

Lovely to see different things on a menu. Food was really nice and well presented. Staff were all very welcoming, friendly and efficient. I really like the atmosphere at The Crossing and will definitely return.

Myself and two friends had lunch on Saturday. There was a lot of choice, the staff friendly and welcoming. We all enjoyed our meals. I’ve eaten here a few times before and it’s always been good.

    Very nice place and food.

First time for food and was very nice, will definitely be back

Food was lovely and liked the atmosphere.

Had the deep south smokey pork crock pot £13.99. Sounds really nice but you could not tell there was any meat in it must have been shredded very fine it says there are bell peppers in it I had two small pieces my wife found one. I was expecting a bit more for the price the crock pot was in fact a small metal type bowl not much bigger than a soup bowl. The Louisiana fries came in a tiny tin bucket and there was no taste at all from normal fries. They are trying to be very trendy with the presentation but not quite getting it right and need to pay more attention to the food. On the plus side staff excellent and pub really nice

I and a friend had the turkey dinner. The turkey was delicious and a lot of it, the roast potatoes were good too. Only 2 sprouts, 2 small bits of carrots and an awful lot of undercooked parsnips, too raw too cut through.
The dessert was beautiful. The waitress didn't charge for our glass of coke as a gesture for the undercooked parsnips. We would be preferred the food was cooked properly though.

An excellent service, great environment and great company. Thank you again

    Lovely as always

Excellent service. Food preferences catered for. Freshly cooked, hot meals. Overall an excellent service.

Really enjoyed The crossing, has a great selection of Gin and the burgers are fantastic!
My only slight criticism is that they serve them now on a weird plastic tray. I'm sure when we have eaten there before they were either on wood platters and chips in buckets. I wish places would go back to plates!
Meal was reasonably priced. So will go back

We were spoilt for choice with the amazing menu and the food was beautiful. Can't fault anything about the meal or the service and we will definitely be booking again very soon.

Booked a meal for a Sunday evening. Wasnt aware the Sunday menu was different to the week but wasn't disappointed. Portion sizes really good, lots of choices and taste lovely.
Would def go back for a Sunday dinner again!

Great food, liked the sorbet cheap little treat.

One meal was served late and another was not cooked properly

The staff really nice and the food amazing (and a lot).

We went to the crossing in January for a birthday meal. The staff were lovely and helpful the food was very nice would recommend the cow pie.

Good Food, Good Service, Nice friendly staff. Will go back soon.

Hassle-free, tasty meal. Attentive staff. A little over-keen to seat (we arrived 30mins early to have a chat and drink prior to table occupancy) otherwise, spot-on.

Lovely service however main course came straight after the starter, for us was to quick. The food was lovely & we enjoyed our evening.

    Nice place and interesting menu.

    Lovely food & staff

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive whilst the food was tasty and attractive. Perhaps the only quirk was the ambiance because to my generation it was like looking at the contents of your garden shed/loft but that is the fashion at present lol x

    Lovely meal!

Food was amazing at the Crossing, although the service was a bit slow at times.

If I were to criticize anything it would be the waiting time for the food as we were on a lunch break and waited 45 minutes to eat.
However, the food at The Crossing was lovely, tasty and fresh.

We enjoyed our meal at The Crossing. I had Steak and it was cooked to perfection. The others had the Beef Bourginon from the specials board, again they enjoyed it. We'll be back soon.

Weekday lunch time menu is great value for money!

Honestly the best Sunday Lunch in Burton town centre at the moment.

Very nice and service first visit would definitely recommend

We have been 3-4 times now all good last time main came before starter then main was cold. Didn't bother me that much easy mistake, will still go again, great pub with good food and staff.

Fabulous food, excellent service, definitely book again

The food was really nice but the portion sizes were definitely too big. We had starters and it came with chips? Why we don't know we didn't want chips with a starter really not needed when the main come there was chips too defo too many. Cocktails were gorgeous and the ambiance was really cute and romantic with the candle till a large party arrived and started being extremely loud. Really nice place gorgeous top quality food and drinks and staff are really great.

Fantastic evening meal. Now trying lunch. Definitely will return for evening meal.

Brilliant. Lovely place :-) been recommending to friends :-)

Table was ready. Menu was different which was good. Very busy so a good atmosphere. Great selection of drinks. Definitely would go back to the Crossing.

The food at the Crossing was excellent. The ambiance unfortunately because it was lunch time was a little quiet. The value was excellent having ordered from the lunch menu the meal price was only £5. Portion size was good and of course the food tasted very nice. Well worth the money. The service was excellent with prompt timely service and a check back at an appropriate time.
