Vivo is an independent, family-run restaurant in Stapleford, Nottingham. Located just six miles from Nottingham and just five minutes from the M1 motorway, it is convenient for locals and visitors to the area alike.
The restaurant has been open since December 2007 and has gradually accumulated a steady base of customers who have spread the Vivo name far and wide. As you walk through the door you are greeted by tantalising Italian aromas wafting from the open kitchen where you can watch your meal being prepared. The dining room is chic and contemporary, with matching chairs and tables laid with a very simple, but effective, place settings coupled with quirky architecture and printed motifs on the bar and walls.
Vivo takes great pride in combining fresh ingredients with the passion and skills of their Chefs to produce good quality, authentic Italian cuisine. The aim is for every meal to be a little slice of Italy on a plate and they succeed in this time after time. On the menu you will find a superb selection of antipasti’s designed to tease your palate and prepare for the culinary delights of the main courses. Stand-out dishes from the a la carte menu include the Tournados Vivo; a fillet steak with dolce latte cheese, wrapped in bacon and topped with pate, served on a rustic crouton with a rich port gravy, Spiedino di Mare; king prawns, salmon, monkfish and cod served on skewers with a lobster sauce, and the Marco Polo pizza topped with Julienne of chicken, mushrooms, chilli, tomatoes and mozzarella.
Vivo Restaurant in Stapleford is perfect for a romantic meal for two in a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. Families will also enjoy a trip here as the Italian tradition of dining at leisure with all generations catered for is very much alive.

Would have given full marks but unfortunately the chicken starter was very dry, otherwise very good value for money.
