Forget Ascot; this is a chance to dust off your posh hats, dress up and party! On the 7th July 2012 The Riverbank will be providing a champagne reception with live music followed by a 3 course meal, a one way coach trip to Nottingham Races 'Ladies Night' and a Premier Enclosure Badge, all for £60 per person! Please note guests are required to arrive at 1pm to dine at 2pm and the first race begins at 6pm. Book early to avoid disappointment!

The Riverbank bar and restaurant is located on Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Backing directly on to the River Trent itself, this venue offers views down the embankment as well as being nestled close to the city centre and West Bridgford.
The venue has just gone through a huge renovation project and has been transformed in to a state of the art, chic and modern bar and restaurant with its own delicatessen that hosts an excellent array of specialist meats, cheeses and home-made breads. The bar has a capacity of 220 people, whilst the first floor restaurant can seat 110 people comfortably. The outside terrace area is stunning and designed to be used whatever the weather. Heaters and cleverly designed seating areas that stop the wind in its tracks makes the huge terrace a comfortable place to enjoy a romantic drink or meal, or just admire the view.
The Riverbank has already gained a fantastic reputation for its first class cuisine, friendly service and beautiful and innovative architecture. Using as much locally sourced produce as possible, every item on the menu will have your mouth watering. Service was slow when it came to the food arriving however it was really busy due to the hot weather. We had booked for the ladies night and got a free cocktail which was lovely. I had organised for them to bring a birthday cake out as a surprise for my friend which they did. The food is always lovely here and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Service was a little slow however it was rammed due to the Hot weather. They helped me surprise my friend with a Birthday cake which was good of them. The food is really nice never any issues, Everyone enjoyed their chosen courses.

The food was delicious and just the right sized portions. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxing. My only complaint is when i arrived the restaurant couldn't find my booking and when it came to pay the bill they couldn't find any record of the deposit I had paid a few days before.So after logging in to my bank on my mobile to prove i had paid it because the staff members were denying all knowledge i got my discount. Apart from that fiasco the evening was enjoyable.

The food was a little underseasoned for me and the starter therfore bland, but the main course with some salt added was very nice. The service was good, but the toilets while clean and modern they were really cold.

Starters arrived before drinks so Got bit fed up waiting for them.
Main course was small in portion and bit tasteless not sure if portion was due to being early bird menu.
Bill was wrong charged £10 to much so that had to be sorted out.
Staff very nice and location lovely.

The restaurant is situated at the side of the River Trent with a lovely outlook, the meal was excellent, this is the 2nd time I have been and both times it has been really good value for money, I will be going again just to try all the different choices, the staff were very friendly and the service was very good.
