The Outside In is one of the most unique restaurants Go dine have come across, it is literally that, the Great British outdoors inside! This long established Horsforth restaurant has been serving quality cuisine for over 30 years, lovingly presented and created by the family owners Sue Teal and her team.
An original concept, the Outside In laid out with stone floors, twinkling ceiling lights and vines as if it is a small open air town square surrounded by window displays reminiscent of the days of old. The cellar area has recently been turned into further restaurant seating and dates back over 400 years, creating a cosy environment with stone walling and lit beautifully by candle light.
A varied menu awaits diners making the restaurant extremely accessible to families or groups where guests will find something to suit every taste. Sharer plates are a fabulous way to start the evening: try the ‘Pick and Mix’ with Ribs in special sauce, wedges, onion rings and chicken strips or perhaps a more Mediterranean Antipasti platter is more your style. A range of chicken, fish, salads, pastas and pizzas are there to choose from for your main course with the Grill taking pride of place and always red hot from continual action. All the beef and lamb when in season is sourced in the Yorkshire Dales from small producing farmers using traditional farming methods. The Outside In Surf ‘n’ Turf is a real favourite with regulars; Finest rib-eye topped with king prawns seared with chilli, garlic and coriander.
