Owned are run by Sarah and Kieran McLoughney for the past five years, The Moorings has developed a solid reputation for serving excellent British cuisine based on seasonal and local ingredients. Sarah offers the warmest welcome and ensure that all guests are comfortable and relaxed whether they are settling down for a pre or post-meal drink in the lounge. The dining room offers guests a welcoming place to dine with fantastic views over the canal and cosy intimate corners.
Kieran heads up the kitchen and has an enviable track record; he previously worked at one of the top restaurants in Jersey and is also the private Chef on one of the biggest private yachts in the world. His cooking style has earned him much praise as he creates original and distinctive British and continental cuisine using fresh local produce.
