TGI Friday's (Northampton)

TGI Friday’s is situated to the West of Northampton town centre opposite the Northampton Town football club and is neighbours with Frankie and Bennies and just down the road from Cineworld. It’s close proximity to the cinema means that it is the perfect venue for a meal out followed by a film.

TGI Friday’s Northampton is part of a chain of American style diner restaurants that serve up big American classics to hungry diners, seven days a week. There is a story behind every element of the décor which may not be apparent at first. The restaurant is bright and loud and features a lot of red and white candy stripe which originates from the Barnum and Bailey’s circus, to reflect the fun that you will have when dining at TGI’s. There is also a propeller above the bar to signify that the bar is the engine that drives the business. There is a variety of different seating options including small, intimate booths with squashy seats to long tables, perfect for a celebration.

On the menu you will find a delicious array of American classics and almost everything comes with TGI’s signature Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, a sweet, tangy BBQ sauce perfect for chip dipping. Must try items include the Steak, Ribs and Shrimp grill combo; a mammoth portion of surf and turf served with onion rings and fries, Black and Blue Prime Choice burger featuring a Cajun-spiced 7oz Aberdeen Angus burger topped with tangy, crumbly Bleu cheese and onion rings and served with a side of creamy Bleu cheese dip and the Loaded Potato skins stuffed with cheese, crispy bacon and sour cream. The skins have been on the menu since 1974 and they remain one of the restaurants most popular dishes to date.

TGI Friday’s is a lively affair with staff dressed up in the all-American colours of red, white and blue. The venue can sometimes become a bit on the loud side and is therefore more suited to larger groups looking for a good time.
