Sinatra’s restaurant in Nottingham city centre is located a stone’s throw from the Market Square on Chapel Bar. This stretch is one of the city’s most densely populated drinking and dining stretches, with Sinatra’s flanked by venues such as Tonic, Fat Cat, Ask and Las Iguanas. Those who dine at Sinatra’s benefit from a large al fresco dining area to the front of the restaurant which is perfect for the summer months.
The dining room and bar area are light, airy and modern with leather bookcases, expansive mirrors and signed photos of celebrities lining the walls. There is a cosy, bistro feel about the restaurant which is both relaxing and captivating and allows diners to soak up the Sinatra’s atmosphere. Guests are able to choose between two styles of dining, or three weather permitting, which includes a more formal dining room and a casual bar bistro.
The menu offers meals that can be enjoyed any time of day from a light lunch all the way up to a romantic evening meal. You will find dishes such as Tempura prawns; whole tiger prawns in a crisp tempura batter served with homemade sweet chilli sauce, and Sinatra’s Club Sandwich packed with grilled chicken, crisp pancetta, plum tomatoes, gem lettuce, free range boiled egg and thick mayonnaise served on freshly baked ciabatta on the light lunch menu. The A la Carte features Belly pork; slow cooked with apple braised rib, creamed celeriac, fondant potato and a Stowford Press cider jus and Fish and Hand Cut Chips; a chunky fillet of fresh Grimsby haddock coated in Sinatra’s own beer batter served with hand cut chips, minted pea puree and a homemade tartar sauce.
All meals are perfectly complemented by a wealth of new and old world wines which can be enjoyed whilst dining or in the comfy bar area. Sinatra’s is a flexible venue that is perfect for a business lunch or romantic evening meal.

Food not particularly hot.

We had a table for two for dinner on a Saturday evening. The table itself was uncomfortable as it was impossible to sit close to it due to a knee-height bracket supporting it under the middle of the table. The atmosphere in the place was very lively, bordering on too loud - OK in the bar area but a bit overpowering in the dining area. Service was attentive, if a little fast which meant that we had ordered and eaten 2 courses in little over an hour. The food itself was tasty but way over-salted. In general Sinatra's would be OK for a group, especially if you wanted to eat and move on, but wasn't ideal for a couple. I wouldn't object to going again but would probably not choose to.

Really delicious food and incredibly helpful staff make it a delight to dine here. My partner loved the ham and bacon risotto and my lamb was cooked perfectly. Looking forwards to trying the pre-theatre menu in a couple of weeks.
