The Garden House offers guests a variety of different dining experiences. The main dining room is simple yet stunning. It has been decorated in a way that is incredibly sympathetic to the buildings heritage and retains many of the original features including the high ceiling and door frames. The compact conservatory dining room offers diners a little slice of British summer time, whatever the season, with trellises and an abundance of leafy foliage decorating the room. The main feature of the conservatory is the original, exposed stonework.
The Restaurant at the Garden House has a great reputation for serving fresh, seasonal produce. Head Chef Peter Carr joined the restaurant in 2008 after 6 years of experience in a Michelin star restaurant. The menu changes daily and Peter creates inventive dishes designed to wow guests. Dishes such as a trio of soups, crispy confit duck leg salad and home oak smoked local pheasant breast for starters will warm your taste buds up in preparation for one of the delicious main courses. In particular the 24 hour braise belly of Lincolnshire pork, home butchered, with sage infused mash, apple crisps, buttered kale, confit pig cheek ravioli, calvados and red wine sauce, deserves a special mention.
